is there anything i can feed my dog to kill internal parasites?

Nothing reliable. I recommend getting a dewormer from your veterinarian.

do you know of any petstores that can provide dewormers? ty for answering my previous question biggrin

the problem with De-wormers from a pet store is - they arent always effective towards some types of Parisites, like tape worm.
Allo! Been following the thread for a couple days now, and I have a question of my own. Sorry if it's already been asked, but how does one properly clean a cat's ears? One my kitties has really bad wax build up with some hair in it..I think it's really bothering him, since whenever I tried to touch that ear he pulls away. Thanks in advance. : )

I personally clean all my cats with Huggies Diaper Wipes (alcohol and fragrence free), yes ears and all.
If the wax is reddish or dark black and redish a little in color and seems deep in the ears - then I suggest taking her to the vet - she might have an ear mite issue - mites tend to help that build up show up and you have to get a mite-acide from the vet (you can always buy the stuff from a pet store - but if you get it from a vet - you can be sure it will work and if it doesnt then the vet will know what to do next)

The mite-acide is like ear drops and they will show you how to use them (be careful with the Q-tips, if there is enough crud in the ear that is deep - you could push it further in. Cats have big ears but take caution where the ear tunnel narrows.
Ear Mites can be spread among cats so be sure to wash your hands before touching a different cat make sure you tell your vet that you have other cats that do or dont seem to have this issue.

Cats that have untreated Ear Mites for years - have been known to go deaf - and that is bad for a cat - Im always catch myself yelling at me sisters cat Tiny to get off the Table - but he cant hear a thing so we have to acctually get up and head towards him til he sees us coming - cause he knows he isnt supposed to be up there hehehe
We have to stomp on the floor to call him over to yas and flip the outdoor porch light on and off to call him into the house - Thank God he is a smart cat.

Previous advice given is good. I personally use a solution of water and vinegar. Moisten a cotton ball and wipe out the ear. Use a q-tip to clean the nooks and crannies. Be careful though.

hey.. can you help me with my problem with my kitty?

When I get home, she's a good kitty, but after I play with her a bit, she sits on my lap and starts to try to BITE my fingers sad

She is likely over excited. If she bites your fingers, yelp like she really hurt you or like a wounded puppy. If she continues to bite, toss her off your lap.

what does it mean if whenever i pet my cat, she twitches her fur and tries to bite me? does it hurt her?? eek

She may be suffering from hyperesthesia. So yes it does not feel good. Pet her only around her head and neck. The back and tailhead tend to be the most sensitive.

Would you mind if I hurt you?
Understand that I need to

Hello again, I have another question about my cat. She chews through wires and we've tried many things to get her to stop, but nothing works so far. We've tried electrical tape(she starts to chew other wires that don't have the tape) and we've put a spray or something on the wires that are supposed to make them taste spicey, but that hasn't worked either. Any suggestions?

The vet I go to said that she might get electrocuted...and I don't want that to happen D:
Wish that I had other choices
Than to harm the one I love

This is a really tough one. My cats chew cords too. You have no idea how many cell phone charges I have had to buy. Ask your vet for some atropine ointment to put on the cords. That tastes really bad. They do make cord keepers that wrap up the loose cords. Hope this helps.

I don't remember if I told you or not, my mother got a call from the vet, and she told me that the test for rabies came back negative on our other cat, but the way she looked when she said it told me that she was either lying to me, or something else was going on with the cat that se didn't want me to know, which sucks, at 17 I think I can handle almost anything...especially with the people I am around all the time, they're nuts...like trying to swing from vines to catch squirrels, nuts.
Hi, I'm back again. This time, it's not about Titten, but instead it's about my baby girl, Skitty. Since I don't know when, she's always been bulemic. Even if you feed her a handful of catfood, about five minutes later, she's heaving it up. It only happens every so often for a period of about a week, but it's always inconvenient cleaning up cat vomit from behind my television set and all. She eats the same food, and refuses to eat any other brand, so I don't think that is the problem...
Hello. Also a returning visitor. Last time I asked about my dog. As it turns out, it was bad and she had to be put down. ]: When I brought it up, I mentioned how my cat was being odd but probably fine.. But now I am growing concerned. Last time I told you how I was gone for a week and a half, and my cat is only close to me. I think she thought I was gone for good because she started to warm to my mother. I came home, and she was still bothering my mom a bit.

It's been about a month since then, give or take, and my aunt mentioned more odd behavior. Apparently when I'm gone, my cat yowls. Like she's in pain kind of yowls. However, whenever I'm home/around she seems perfectly fine. I was confident she just missed me until now. I was standing at the counter cooking and she sat there just.. Yowling. She's been content with only my presence and suddenly she just wouldn't stop. Over and over. Finally I had to sit down with her. She yowled, then drew near and bowed her head like she wanted to be pet. She stopped almost immediately. I pet her and she seemed fine and now she seems to be content but.. Should I be worried? She doesn't show any symptoms of pain, she's wandering around and being mostly lazy. She eats, she's drinking, and she is "going" plenty. And, like mentioned, she only did this tonight and stopped when pet. Should I make a vet appointment, does this seem bad, or does she just seem needy?

Major problem with one of my two dogs.

The older one, Buddy is sweet and easy going.

The other, Punky, always attacks me. I've never tortured her, and she never attacks anyone else. I'm not the kind of person to want to hurt animals, but I have gotten the itching to strangle her a few times.

What do I do?

I'm not a vet but Xana always advises everyone to do the same thing. If you animal is being aggressive (for real or play), act like they hurt you. When she attacks you, yelp and act like she's wounded you majorly. This should stop the behavior.
