So.... I was thinking....

Agree or disagree?

I was thinking she was more the Water Tribe's answer to Jet. Azula sought power while Hama was driven by vengence as Jet was. Certainly though the two of them are very close to each other on the power scale and possibly in a love for torture. I'm not sure if they are equal in manipulative skill. Hama was able to pass off as a mild mannered old lady and get away with her actions but Azula was able to manipulate people into doing as she would want them to do without the use of bending power. I'd say she's the better puppetmaster in that sense.

Oh wow!!! I forgot about Jet. Yeah. I think I would have to completely agree with your analysis. 3nodding

Everyone forgets about Jet. He didn't even get to avenge his village and the death of his parents. We don't even know what happened to the Rough Rhinos and whether they ever had to face any sort of punishment for what they did.

Didn't Zuko beat 'em up that time in Zuko Alone? Hama... is maybe the better actress, but Azula is definitely the better puppet master.

The Desert actually. But they didn't die.

WHAT'S UR FAV ANIME KATARA?!?!?!?

My own? I do like numerous others (Pretear, Inuyasha, Gundam Seed) but it has been awhile since I've watched anything new. I almost got suckered into watching Vampire Knight until I found out it closely resembled Twilight having a bland heroine who basically lives for this vampire guy who is really not all that special.

Haha, nice crack on Twilight.

I think Vampire Knight also has extra angst. And the 'Jacob' of the story is rather Zuko-ish. Also, there's whole lot of backstory and hidden history and undercurrents of character relationships.

Yeah, Zero was the only character that I was actually interested in. That Kaname guy though I can't stand. I think my level of loathing for him is on Mai level. That's really hard to achieve. I do not hate too many characters as much as I hate her.

Whereas I... tend to only hate truly scumbag characters. Do you know Samurai X? If you recall, the final villain of that series is this rich, fat man wearing yellow robes who is, frustratingly enough, *also* really good at fighting for some reason. He was an arrogant glutton and a miserable, treacherous coward. I... would have *really* enjoyed hearing him scream and scream and scream...

Honestly, I don't even remember his name now, just the fact that I seriously hated him. No, forget hate. I loathed that guy. He was all high and mighty and arrogant with Kenshin at first, actually almost beat Kenshin a couple of times, and then when Kenshin finally managed to defeat him, he turned into a pathetic, blubbering mess begging for his life. And when Kenshin spares him, he smirks and tries to stab Kenshin in the back. Filthy coward.

I love Samurai X! And Kaname really pisses me off, he needs to choke on air and die.

Wow. Kaname really seems to inspire a lot of hate. I think I read the series for just.... twenty chapters or so? In one sitting. Then I couldn't be bothered to revisit it. I guess Kaname gets truly hate-worthy a bit later on, huh?

He wants his own freaking sister! Plus, ZeroxYuuki forever! ToT

I actually don't consider incest a particularly bad thing if its written well... Sometimes its even adorable!

It's not! It doesn't even make sense why she wants HIM. Oh, there's also the fact that she didn't know for most of the manga that they were siblings. >.<

Yay fun-ness. That must have been... interesting. Are they actual blood siblings?

Yes, I'm with SIN. What tipped you off? The distinctive robes and medallion? My fiery red skin? Or maybe it was the swirling portal of death behind me, or the big, spiky mace I'm carrying...
