I AM KIRA xD not really, Iwish I were smart enough crying I can'r even make ittino honor roll! god greif, Kira is god, he's got the right idea, mine would be a bit more dramatic though, not only would the criminals die, but so would the people who've been troublesome to my life or line of work, so I'd probally be figured out edventually. but Kira is amazing, may he rule the world, and it dosen't stop at Light's death (sorry if its a spoiler to you) but Kira will become known throught the world, and be freared by many, but praised by most ^_+ ALL HAIL GOD!

I'm not going to follow some vigilante who doesn't respect human life.
stare I give up.. man kind is hopeless, I guess I'll just watch as we all burn..
So open up your eyes...

I'm still a Kira supporter, and when I told my dad who is this "Kira guy" he said: "That's so nice of him, sweety". *cough* Maybe, who knows, he watched Death Note too O_0

KIRA TOTALY EXIST, I AM KIRA,I AM JUSTICE xD domokun evil idea arrow
As a Shinigami, I'm not a Believer. I'll kill KIRA with the first chance I get. twisted Though, I could just kill him instantly........ eek
Though I don't think vigilantism is wrong seeing as authorities seldom use their powers to the right ends as much as they could, I think L as Kira was a bit misguided or even short-sighted in how he used his powers too. Mikami came closer to what I'd think was the ideal, that being killing off those who hurt the innocent, but he went too far in holding people responsible for laziness or just not agreeing with him. I'd think that Kira's goal shouldn't have so much focused on just criminals, that is anyone who breaks the law, but rather on getting rid of those people who hurt the defenseless or weak, whether or not they're actually breaking the law or get caught in doing so. It probably would've required more effort to find such people and the relevant information enough to do them in with the Death Note, but still, I think it's a better idea than just going after criminals universally, regardless of whether there were actually victims involved.

On a side note, poor Matsuda doesn't deserve some of the hate he's gotten in this thread. sad
And DAMN I'm stupid. I meant LIGHT as Kira. I shouldn't type late at night. :B
NO! Kira is evil! twisted
I liked his original ideals.
I liked it before the 7th manga or so, I think.
He changed somewhere and it is difficult to find out where.
=/

Beyond Birthday had the eyes of a shinigami since he was born.
He knew your name before you said it.
He knew the time of death of every person he met.

No.
He may of killed criminals, but he was also going to kill people who he just didn't agree with. Episode/chapter 1, very end of his first speech to Ryuk, he mentions killing the "useless" people with disease. When Mikami threatens to kill people who are lazy or "don't use their ability" through Takada, Light doesn't say that isn't justice, he says it's too soon meaning he plans on doing it. People who did nothing wrong would die and die slowly. I don't care how you try and twist it, that's not justice. And Light planned to do that from the beginning. So he was never justice.

...I hardly need to explain just what effect
this would have on his personality.

You know what I believe?
I believe I'm tired of seeing this same discussion over and over again.
Jesus christ, this is turning into the ED.
Kufufu, the only beliefs I support are my own.
i think that to make the world a better place someone like kira would be needed because the world is filed with bad people and is infecting the world
