Why is your E. coli green? Are you using a broth with malichite green for pH testing? Because your E. coli should not be green. If you do have a green broth you may want to run an IMViC test on your culture or a triple sugar iron test. You probably have Pseudomona aeruginosa, which is a commonly used bacteria for school labs. They are gram negative rods just like E. coli so you may have got a mix up that way.

Who knows what medium? I was thinking at first though about pseudomonas and how I would expect E. coli to be red. Itt we are dorks and taking away from OP's moment of win. D:

E. coli is tan or white in normal nutrient broth. It is only red when you gram stain it (or hot pink if it is on KI agar cool )

I do it all the time. In fact just the other day me and my friends were waiting for a tattoo appointment down town and I was entertaining them by shouting FEELS GOOD MAN! and doing the Clambino pose that goes with it. There are so many things that amuse me about Gaia that it seeps into my daily life quite a bit.

At an anime convention, I bought a Coco plushie because a friend of mine RP's a coco kitty named "Corbenik" who we refer to as the "overdude". He's psychotic and sorta evilish.

Anyway, I ran into a group dressed as "Team Pocky" who were dressed as cheerleaders and handing out Pocky to passers-by. I demanded that they make an offering of Pocky to the overdude. xd Fortunatley it was an anime convention...so this was observed as acceptable behavior.

The other night some friends and I were hanging out talking about epic superheros and I said Batmund was the most awesome thing since sliced bread and everyone started talking about BatMAN and I was sad emo
