Due to life circumstances (nothing bad just keeping me busy)! I am no longer able to monitor this thread.
While I may still pop in occasionally most of the time I will not even be on Gaia.

You are welcome to stay and post with each other, utilizing the hangout aspect of this thread, but there will not be many thread giveaways.

Hi, I'm Howia and you've found my giveaway
where you are also welcome and encouraged to hang out
as I work my way towards being an Level 10 Alchemist.

Its not really that complicated, stick around to win things and if you have a question just ask.
If you're a new alchemist or stuck on a level you should let me know,
I love to help other alchemists too, with advice or sometimes hard to find items.

I often get asked what is alchemy and how does it work, Well...

It is very complicated but in a nutshell...
Alchemy is a process by which a formula, the items it calls for & a varying amount of gold are collected and crafted into a single bigger item.
You cannot craft a formula above your current level, of which there are 10.
Each formula at your current level puts you 10% closer to the next goal.
Each formula at the level directly below your current level also gives you exp but not as much.
So it takes 10 formulas at your current level to move up to the next, but would take more if you make formulas at the level below.
Items crafted more than 1 level below your current do not contribute exp.

*NEW ADDITION* Alchemist for Hire~

It appears it is time to start offering services for paid hire.
Spoiler below for the boring details as to why otherwise read on.

I realised I've given away more than 50mil worth of items in this thread (all the things I've made plus spot prizes, helping new alchemists get started and oh the occasional wishlist knock outs for my wonderful regs)
And now I'm starting to wonder:
a. how the heck this happened considering I started with only about 300k!!
b. how I'm going to keep it up now that I don't have as much time to commit to slaving away in the mp

So as an alternative to deciding what items to craft, crafting them and then giving them away at random I'm now offering (in addition to the free item crafting & giveaways) to make things on request, if you are prepared to supply the items.

Anybody for whom this service is going to be useful will probably already know the drill but
for you curious onlookers out there here is how it works:

1. Sometimes it is cheaper (or faster in the event of rare items) to craft an item than buy it in the mp
2. Such items usually require the higher levels of alchemy and the people who want these items are not always alchemists.
3. By offering my services I invite anybody to supply me with the formula and at least most of components of an item they want of the level I can craft and I will craft it for them.
4. For my thread regulars*: I am offering a slightly VIP version of this service where you are welcome to suggest (via posting, not PM please) an item that you want for me to craft next and depending on the item and the costs involved, I'll probably make it for you.

Please send me a PM if you are interested in this service.

*Thread regulars may include (at my discretion) people who post here regularly, friends, and people who have made generous donations in the past.
If you have to ask if you're included, you'll probably want to wait until I'm in a reeeeally good mood before asking for a VIP service.
