I do agree abortion is wrong.. but its the choice of the carrier... if they decide to get an abortion it's there fault for killing this child... one less life that will be brought into the world... one less friend for others.. that child will never get the choice to live because of the parents that brought it hell through an abortion! Abortion is horrible.. no need for it.. let the child be born and cherish it with every ounce of love u can.. bring life to the world.. and not death...

Ugh...you're going to be one of those staunch Republicans who marries at an early age and has a dozen kids, aren't you?
my god, you whiny people and your fetuses!
a parent dumb enough to get pregnant and about shouldn't have kids in the first place.
thus i think if someone were to get an abortion they should automatically get their tubes tied too. But then there are definately ways around it too [dumpster babies and the like].
dude should get castrated too, just to be fair.

EDIT:
and the fetuses are to be donated to science to be tested upon to give a cure and give someone else a chance for one to have a normal life.
******** people want fairness? what about the sick people that need stem cells to be cured? they don't deserve a normal life?
hell, forget about the tubes tied and the castration

neutral too far buddy , all i can say the women have the choice on that not the men 4 they dont fell the pain she has to go through
Men ought to have the right to an opinion on the matter, however. There's no harm in that whatsoever, and we ought to have the right to give a damn what happens with our child (as much ours as it is the mother's, no matter who bears the child itself). I recognize why the crux of the decision falls to the mother, but I ought to have the ability to voice my opinion and not have it be taboo, not be told than I'm 'sexist' for having an opinion on so serious a subject. That's all.

Oh yeah, because if someone doesn't want to have a child when they're 15 they're certainly not going to want a child when they're 25. rolleyes

If the question is, "Do I want to raise a baby?" Then the man should have a say in it, if he plans to help her out or raise the baby himself.

But if the question is, "Should I carry this baby to term?" then the man should not have a say in it until science discovers a way to allow men to carry fetuses.

Lol, in some respects I almost agree with you, but nevertheless there's still the issue of the child itself, which is quite apart from how decent a set of parents the couple might be. Hence this debate.

That's about it, yes. Shame it has to be whittled down to the bare minimum like that at all (in a perfect world people would have kids when they were prepared and actually raise them decently- many do; many don't).

It's a shame we don't live in a perfect world, isn't it?

People should be allowed whatever they want to do, that includs getting an abortion regardless of the circumstances you should have the choice of having a bay, that is a big decision even if you do give the baby away.

Really, now? People should be able to do whatever they want ? neutral
Money makes the world go 'round...

You know, in the end it comes down to the woman's choice, and her belief. If she feels strongly enough to get an abortion, she will, and vice versa. You do have a right to your beliefs, but you don't have the right to try and force your beliefs on others. I am pro-choice, but I don't go around and say that pro-lifers are full of s**t. Hell, I have friends who are very strongly pro-life... Instead of saying that the other person is wrong, why don't you just agree to disagree and move on?

Oh, and if surgical abortions were made illegal again, there's actually an herb that can induce abortion in a woman's body...

...but for now I'll lie and say that you do...
