Abortion is kind of selfish. Killing a to-be child because you got yourself pregnant. That's why I can't stand teenage pregnancies. No sympathy whatsoever.

Because they're not old enough to have developed fingers and certain organs, they're somehow altogether inhuman? Appearances alone should hardly decide anything. Hell, an infant isn't capable of surviving on its own outside of the womb (I assume though that you mean that it relies on the umbilical cord- a nice thought, but this does not make a fetus a parasite in that a parasite invades; a fetus comes about through natural human biology without any choosing of its own. Additionally, the placenta also supports the fetus with nutrients).

No, an infant is capable of surviving outside of the womb. An embryo or fetus is not.

No, an infant is capable of surviving outside of the womb. An embryo or fetus is not.

I was thinking more figuratively, that an infant cannot adequately feed itself without assistance. Realizing that I was thinking more figuratively though, I covered the matter of a fetus relying on the umbilical cord. You're correct that both an embryo and a fetus cannot survive without relying upon the female body- that I agree with.
