abortion is killing of an unborn child....a child is a human...hence it is murder. If abortion is legal, then why shouldn't murder? It's the same thing, just different ages.

Anyways, views on abortion differ because people who are pro-choice don't view the fetus as human until it's outside of the womb. It can't feel pain until twenty weeks, and majority (about 88%) of abortions take place during the first twelve weeks. So the fetus doesn't even feel anything.

If abortion was illegal, the number of women who would be having illegal abortions would be horribly high, and that would result in most likely the women dieing as well.

It is, while we're on the subject of definitions, human as well, since a human being cannot give birth (or develop) something which is inhuman (however underdeveloped it is). 'Baby' is another term for 'child' usually, although far less technical and used so loosely that it can refer to an infant, which is a developmental stage (before which is the fetal stage, the subject of this debate).

I've sympathy, for sure, I definitely realize the stresses that the situation presents young girls with (and guys as well, often unrecognized). Even still though, I think it an extremely regretful option. Extremely.

I see it as very responsible.
There are THOUSANDS, maybe even into millions, of kids to adopt worldwide. No one should be putting any more into adoption agencies... it just seems cruel to me.
I'd rather choose abortion for 2 reasons:
a) Save them from years in an adoption agency
and b) I'd like to slow down overpopulation, rather than speed it up.
We've only got one planet && I'd rather not know people were dying because too many people were living. :/
