Necessary and unnecessary annoy me, because I can't spell them correctly the first time.

But I figured every writer's most hated and feared word would be "rejected".

This is juvenille, but I hate the word 'c**t' so much.

But I hate simple words like 'nice' because it doesn't describe the beauty of the place, person, object, whatever. It's ok to use when the characters are talking but not good to use by the author to describe.

Okay, these are more just the sounds, but I hate to write them as well:

Moist, cacophony (sp?), ointment, cream.
Oh, and the word rape. It just sounds...ugh. Maybe because of its meaning, but even if it was an adjective describing a fluffy bunny, I'd still hate it.

I also absolutely HATE it when some immature, juvenille writer goes 'she had beautiful blonde follicles' because they think it sounds cool. And I've seen it done before.

Hair. Follicles. TWO DIFFERENT THINGS.
