This is a piece I had to come up with for literature class. It is named Ode to Mountain Stream.

Turquoise waters rushing by and fast,
The duration of the race shall ever last,
Its beauty runs in an elegant way,
My attention for it shall never stray,
Oh, how I yearn for beauty like so!


Mossy rocks lazily sitting by,
Taking a bath in the splashes of the stream,
As wonderful as a dream.

The trickling stream's melody,
A perfect duet for the tree's night elegy,
If only I could stay for an encore.
