If you happened to stumble across this thread accidentally or were brought here by a friend, we're thrilled to have you. ^^
So relax, have a look around, and take some time to start a nice conversation with the people here.
We won't bite, unless you want us to....

I've decided to create this charity not long after I joined Gaia, with the hope of helping less fortunate Gaians, and of course, all those who treated me kindly upon my arrival.

Right now, our current funds are: High
Low- Below 100k
Med- 100- 200k
High- Above 200k

Any and all help is welcome and highly appreciated!
If you do kindly wish to donate please send all trades to the charities mule, Wishmaker Workshop.

This is a miniature PSA regarding a trade one of our moderators recently received and accepted. A large amount of gold was involved, and seemed fishy to our mod. It turns out that according to a Gaia Mod the gold was from an illegitimate source. This is Wishmakers way of giving you a friendly reminder:

If you receive a trade for a large amount of gold as a donation, or an expensive item in a trade from someone as a random gift, be certain that you are not going to be banned for it. PM a Gaia Mod to confirm that the gold or item are clean. Be careful out there, even kindness is difficult to take at face value anymore.

Follow the TOS

Kaila Kallenime is the ruler of this charity. What I say goes.

Do not PM me, or anyone else in the charity for donations

No fighting with other members. Debates, however, are fine.

Be respectul to the regulars and mods here.

Do NOT argue with mods. Their word is law. Obey it. If you don't, you will be blacklisted and banned from the thread.

Keep drama out of the thread. If you must, take it to PM's.

Leave your issues at the door when you come in. If you have problems, go to Life Issues- we aren't your support group.

Refrain from using “l33t” speech, and try to be semi-literate.

Bumping is allowed, but hey, if there's someone around, chat.

Avoid page stretching

If I catch you using a mule in contests or to receive donations, you will be blacklisted

Do not quote anything on the front page

No advertising, unless it's done in your signature. This applies to coming in and begging/ asking for donations or help with your quests. It will not be tolerated, and you WILL be blacklisted.

Make an effort to be an active regular. The longer you stick around, the better your donation.

Please be responsible. I understand that Mods aren't around 24/7 so I ask that each member please be responsible and do things without having to be told; for example, enforcing the rules, resizing an image or editing a post. We don't expect perfection, but we do ask that you try your best to serve as an example for the newer members or forgetful olbies of this charity.

If you receive a donation from us, be sure to thank all of the staff in their profiles. The trade will NOT be confirmed until you do. If you fail to thank the staff within 48 hours, the trade will be canceled.

NO ONE here has any right whatsoever to 'demand' a prize/item/gold from this charity. If anyone wins a contest, then a mod will get to you and start a trade as soon as possible. If a few pages go on, and you think no one noticed, then by all means, send a PM to the mule with the page you won on.

Put a dramallama in your first post, to let me know that you have read the rules.

4/10/09- On April 13, we regret to inform you that Wishmaker Workshop Charity will no longer be running and will close its doors permanantly. We sincerely thank you all for sticking around and making this an awesome thread to be in. During today's giveaway, we will be insanely generous with the funds accumulated in order to clear everything out, so please be here after the EIR.

Easter Egg Hunt
There's no need to feel left out this Easter, since the staff of Wishmaker Workshop Charity will be busy tucking eggs into every nook and cranny of the thread for you to gather up! But you'll have to be fast to catch them! Keep an eye out for this shelled surprise.

Be the first to quote it, and earn a peep point! Red eggs are worth double! The more peep points you have, the better item you'll receive on April 13th! You can redeem your points for smaller items that are available, but once you do, your points will be lost, and you'll have to start over again, if you're hoping for a large item.

Alright, to keep the applications and names more organized, I have decided to make a list of people who are eligible to get a donation. These people are here often enough and didn't ditch the charity. IF your name is not on this list for some reason, either:
1. I didn't see your form. Ask a staff member to look at it.
2. You didn't post your form right.
3. You aren't here enough.
4. You already got a donation. ((THIS DOESNT MEAN YOU WON'T GET DONATED TO AGAIN!!! If I notice you enough, you will most likely get more help!))

If you havent been to the Charity lately, or left on a random absents FOR MORE THAN A WEEK without saying so, you will be removed from the list.

To get back on, just be around and bump, chat, and be around.
