Yeah.. Though quality of education is not all that great here.
The tourist spots are good, many sight seeing places. But its exactly safe for females. Especially from another country.
I don't even know why people are like that over here.
Yeah, that's the same everywhere, even in India.
Connections are everything.
True true. If possible I'd have prefered to specialize in engineering as well as surgery.
Yeah^^
How are you? How was your day?
Our quality of education isn't great here either.
In primary school years, K-12, students are taught to pass standardized tests.
Politics plays a hand in that. It's a shame that the things taught during primary years are of no use once a person graduates.
I feel like I've learned so much more in my almost two years of university than I did in my primary school years.
I feel like a lot of the challenges I faced with math were only because the teachers I had during my primary school years never really took the time or effort to make sure each student learned and understood the concepts being taught.
It's the sights I want to see. It's not really safe to be female no matter where one goes, unfortunately.
I don't know why people just can't respect and treat each other equally.
At the most fundamental part of who we all are, we are all the same, human.
We are biologically very much alike when we put aside all the different ways we classify our differences.
We were human fetuses before we were ever assigned a sex, identified as a particular gender, or developed a skin pigment.
I study Criminal Justice, and I know for a fact that it's not the only thing I want to do in my life.
I would also love to join an orchestra, since I play musical instruments,
and I would love to run and own my own bakery/cafe, since I love to bake and cook.
Sadly, connections are everything, though, they shouldn't be.
Everyone should be allowed fair chances and opportunities to pursue their life's goals,
without so much restriction and difficulties placed on us by discrimination.
My cousin's boyfriend studied engineering, and that's his career.
I don't know much, but he and my cousin seem happy,
so maybe he loves what he does.
What kind of surgery interests you?
I'm doing a lot better today, I got a good night's rest, finally.
My day has been rather quiet, but really enjoyable so far.
I've got a small mountain of homework to work through, but with music and this level of calm,
I can handle it.
How are you today?
How are things going?
