**OLD** Summer Event
It's SUMMER!!! ^^ TIME FOR WHAT? BEACHES, SWIMMING POOLS, VACATIONS, AND BARBECUES!
I want you to pm me your special summer stories from either the past or present!
I will even put them on here if you request that. ^^
Let's just get in the summer mood....

My Summer story:
I went to Canada and stayed at a special resort with my mom.. we swam and ate at the local restaurants.. the most memorable thing we did would probably have to be the time we watched a street show of some guy doing these most amazing tricks! We told him we were new to Canada, and he showed me how to do a very cool trick! It was the most fun i've had since the day I went to Great America for the first time... (but, that's another story wink )
Supersaiyanneo's Summer story:
It was the summer of my junior year of high school (I was going into my senior year) and the band went on a trip to Florida. The first day we got there...after 2 grueling days of being on the bus, we went to the ocean. The boys on our bus began taking off ALL of their clothes. Luckily the teachers noticed and stopped them before their...unmentionables got off. Shortly after that we went swimming. But it seemed that the teachers can't stop accidental nudity. I was swimming around and a wave hit me. And of course, my top came off. Needless to say it was really embarrassing. But thankfully my school was nice enough not to make fun of me after that day.
And nothing else humiliating happened on that trip...that I know of anyway. Though many of the students were saying something about "What happens in Florida...STAYS in Florida" I still wonder what else happened during that little adventure.
DamaruSama's Summer story:
It was summer of 2004, I was 15 at the time. I had already left home from my mothers and been adopted by my cousin's. Well, the story takes place when we went on a camping trip. It was 4th of July weekend and they told us they had a surprise planned. We went to this place in NY called Zoar Valley. there was a little creek type thing that you could walk along. About 2 miles away from our campsite, we came to this huge pool of water, and flowing into it was about a 25 ft. waterfall. Long story short, we jumped off it for most of the weekend. Though to be honest, the first time I was at teh top, my cousin had to push me >.<
XoX Dont Forget About Me's Summer story:
Just 2 days ago, on August 14th, my mom, sister, and i Drove to San Diego and stayed at a very nice Hotel not to far from the beach. After we had first got there, we walked down the the Beach and saw 2 cute little baby Seals. We went down to another part of the beach, and there was a Cave you cuold go into. So i walked all through the cave, and at the end, you could see Sea Lions splashing in the water and climbing on the rock. (There were also TONS of people snorkling down there). The next day, me had to pack our stuff from the hotel. We got up early and went to the Aqurium. After that we drove around UC San Diego. Finally we went kayaking on a different part of ocean. The water was crystal clear! We kayaked over to different cave, and it was just amazing!

So two years ago in the summer of '07, I became a Volunteer Junior Counselor for a Summer camp. I was so excited, and so the first day I woke up early and got ready. Finally I got there. There were a ton of cute little kids, especially a five year old with curly hair named James. xD So anyways, we played games, had snack time, and before I left the kids begged me to play a game of Foosball with them. Deciding that It would be fun, I began to play. I was beating them, and all of a sudden I stepped over and my ankle turned all the way in so for a second I was standing on the side of my ankle. I limped over to the chair and said, "Oh, I'm fine." I then went out back to leave, and I had to use my bike as a crutch. I got about 200 yards away from the Park before I collapsed and called my mom. She came and got me, and I spent the rest of the day in the emergency room. It turns out I had severely sprained my ankle, and that there was a little hairline fracture. Before this sprain, I had sprained my ankle at least 5 times, and this was the worst sprain by far. And playing the table game Foosball at that! I was teased by the doctors who said that it must have been a very intense game. What was funny was that my older sister and I the day before had been watching the movie "Water Boy" where the mom called football "foosball." So when I told my sister she thought I meant football at first, and I went, "No, foosball." Whenever I tell anyone they always are like, "Wait what? Football?" It was a funny experience. After that sprain, I have sprained my ankles 3 more times, to have a total of eight sprains so far. xD
