We are very delighted that you found UTOPIA. UTOPIA is a place for
everybody to enjoy and meet friends, while helping Gaians reach
their dreams and wishes. UTOPIA is a unique charity: we are
laidback, literate, and friendly, with enough funds to make a big
impact on your quest. Literally. We have given out '03 and '04 MCs,
countless RIG items, and millions and millions of gold to deserving
Gaians who call UTOPIA home.

- Don't be rude to newcomers, guiding them in UTOPIA is not a burden.
- Never BEG or demand donations; patience and humility is a MUST.

THE SYSTEM OF UTOPIA

PAY IT FORWARD. UTOPIA expect nothing in return from gaians we will help. That's why we have a
different system as far as receiving contributions (more details in UTOPIAN FUNDS section). We cant
stop inflation and we cant eliminate greedy gaians. But we have the knowledge to earn gold, and we
plan to use that knowledge to help those who cant keep up with the economy. We cant guarantee to
help everyone but we will help as many as we can.

HISTORY

Founders of UTOPIA always wanted to establish a place for everyone to enjoy and help each other.
Several projects were made in the past, kiki giveaways, 1k letters, assorted plushies and monthly
collectibles. All recipients & participants were rewarded for their good qualities. We believe awarding
such good traits will encourage more to follow. The last project of our founders were Eternal and
Purgatory. Both were made to give tribute to a Gaian named Plexi_Lexi. Purgatory was under the
leadership of [[_Devon_]] and Eternal was lead by Icarus 2.0. Our goal was to keep both projects
to run as long as possible. But this was cut short due to the passing of a dear Gaian named Darren
(Icarus 2.0). The death of Darren saddened us, but it never stop our motivation to pursue what
our Founders and Darren desire to achieve.



Most people who knew Darren (Icarus 2.0) would say that he's a
friendly, kind-hearted and intelligent young man. Darren never
cared for pixels, if Darren is your friend consider him one that is
true and sincere. When someone comes into his charity, he
always greets them warmly and has a conversation with them.
He doesn't discriminate based on pixels. Darren was a Utopian,
in every way. He never said a mean thing to anyone, and
everyone loved and cared for him. When he found out that a
friend of his was unfairly banned, he started a charity as a
tribute to her. He didn't share much about his health with his
friends, perhaps because he didn't want everyone to worry about
him. We're all terribly sad you aren't here with us anymore
Darren, and we all miss you a lot; and this is our tribute to you.
We're keeping the promise, and we're continuing the legacy of
"paying it forward". Remember that you'll always be in our hearts.

UTOPlAN - Head of Charity

UTOPlAN (That's an "L", not an "I" ) is the charity's official mule
and mascot. Any UTOPIA related questions and comments should
go to her only. She is (supposedly) a Greek goddess who is dedicated
to making UTOPIA a great place for all Gaians to come visit.







NAEYRU - Chief of Staff ON BREAK.

Nae was one of the first recipients of Plexi's 100 kiki giveaway.
Since then Nae has loyally supported any charity projects that
Plexi, friends and founders conducted. Nae is very friendly, kind,
have great leadership qualities, a talented artist and extremely
patient. We discovered her great talent in leading and organizing
on "Plexi and Friends Christmas Event". Being a good friend of
Darren's was more than enough to convince her to be a part of this
charity. UTOPIA will be very challenging to handle, but if Nae is a
part of it expect it to be a HUGE SUCCESS.




CAO - Giveaways Coordinator (basically retired)

Cao is a spunky and all around awesome girl who helps us
coordinate and host various giveaways. She helps keep events
running smoothly as well as watch over the thread to see who's
been naughty or nice. An amazing avi creator, artist and friendly
to talk to person, feel free to ask her any questions you may have
about UTOPIA.







RASPBERRY(SODA) - Ambassador to New Members

Soda serves as the bridge between UTOPIA, and the rest of Gaia,
essentially. Soda helps the charity scout new members for UTOPIA
as well as help us assess and evaluate our applicants. She is happy
to answer any "newbie" questions you have about UTOPIA, so please
feel free to ask! Known for her quirkiness and eclectic personality,
Soda is a great asset to UTOPIA.

CAN ANYONE CONTRIBUTE?

UTOPIA doesn't accept donations from just anyone. Our goal
is to help those who need the gold and not take if from them.
So we set up a system that will further ensure we only receive
gold from those who have too much to spare.

UTOPIA ONLY ACCEPT CONTRIBUTIONS FROM SPONSORS.

To qualify as a sponsor your donation must be a minimum of
1000K per month. Sponsors are not obligated to donate
monthly, if you decide not to donate for the following month your
name wont be included in the following month's sponsor list.
Donations can be in a form of MCs or PURE.

WHY DOES UTOPIA DEMAND SO MUCH GOLD FROM THEIR
CONTRIBUTORS?

Simple, we don't need donations like most charities. Our
founders have enough gold to keep UTOPIA running for years.
Individuals who can donate 1000K obviously have too much
gold to spare. We don't want to take gold from people who
needed it more than us, nor receive gold from people who
expect more in return (fake donators). Based on past
experience, a lot donate a certain amount to charities
(5k, 10k etc) and expecting to get donations back just because
they donated (bribery).

How do I get a donation, you ask?

Method 1: SIMPLE. Stay and chat.

That's pretty much the big secret. There are no more forms to fill out, and we
have retired our old membership system so it's never been easier to join UTOPIA.

Folks who receive the biggest donations from Utopia are those who've stuck
with us when the charity is a bit slow, or if there isn't some big holiday event
going on. Here in UTOPIA, instant gratification won't do you much good. We
believe in rewarding deserving Gaians who genuinely invest their time in getting
to know the charity and our philosophy of "paying it forward".

If no one's starting a conversation with you, feel free to quote someone and
just jump in. We promise we won't bite!

When we see you around enough, don't be surprised to see a nice donation
coming your way. We are known to be Gaia's "wish makers" ^__~

Method 2: Holiday events and RNG games

Occasionally UTOPIA hosts games and contests over special holidays or
just randomly. Feel free to participate in these games for your chance to win
a prize! It doesn't matter if you're a random passerby or a long time regular,
as long as you are truly CHATTING and not spamming the thread solely in
hopes of winning, you have a chance at these prizes! For more info on RNG games,
please see below.

UTOPIA hosts a variety of RNG (Random Number Generator) Games each month
where we give away sealed letters or RIGs as prizes. We can host anything between
1-10 games a month! These games are spontaneous and not announced
beforehand, so if you want to get in on the action, your best bet is to be in the
thread as often as you can! Games, unless otherwise stated, are open to ALL USERS
regardless of your membership status in UTOPIA.

The rules for RNG contests are pretty simple. Usually you are required to generate a
random number between two numbers (say, 1-100 or 1-200), and if you are the first
person to get this number, you win the prize! Winners should pm a URL LINK to the
winning page to UTOPlAN, unless otherwise stated.

There is only one catch with these games-- you must be actively talking in the thread
with others. And by talking, I mean no spam posts, no emote-only posts, and no posts
where it is obvious you are just talking to yourself. There should be QUALITY conversation
held in the thread. I'm not going to hawk over every one of you, but don't just spam posts
that aren't exactly "real" conversations (examples of bad posts: "28 please!!", "omg why
is the rig not giving me 28", "I wanna win please!!" )

If your posts are considered spam or otherwise ineligible, your winning prize will be forfeited,
so please use your better judgment. If you have any questions on what does or doesn't
count as 'spam posts' during RNG games, please feel free to PM me and ask.
