Yes. It was so totally unexpected. I finally gave up, because I couldn't understand what she was saying. She was very angry. If she had just slowed down, I could have understood.
Had you asked her to slow down? Did you complain to management?
I did ask her to slow down, several times, and she blew up. My guess is that she had been a professional in her own country and her credentials were not recognized here. (That even happens here when you change states, in some areas.) And her English was quite good, except that I couldn't adjust for an accent going by too fast to recognize, and the speaker was horrible. It wasn't me - I think it had probably built up from the moment she took the job.
To complain to mgmt, I would have had to find a parking spot in a nearly full parking lot, go in, create a scene probably, without a lot of point. And....I was in a rush, which is why I was there in the first place. It was not a usual experience.
