The Destiny Charity

*BIG ANNOUNCEMENT*

When I started The Destiny Charity, I had just quested for an angelic scarf and fairy wings, the two items I wanted the most. I felt so happy when I got them, that I wanted to help other Gaians achieve their dreams and get their items too. The Destiny Charity will be celebrating it's 10 year anniversary on November 2nd! Wow, we're old! ha ha. Unfortunately, Nov 2nd will also be the charity's last day open. Throughout the years as you know, Gaia has changed in that they are more focused on getting money because they want you to buy not only the monthly collectibles, but the evolving items, La Victoire items, and other things that you have to donate money to get or spend a ridiculous amount of gold on. Charities just don't mean the same to the community as they used to. I had a lot of fun over the years helping people reach their goals, and meeting new friends who regularly chatted in the thread. I thank you for all that you have done for me and the charity! I will continue to be on Gaia, but the charity will no longer be open. I am planning on leaving Gaia eventually, but I am saving up my gold to buy art for my original stories. I may have an event where I donate my items or gold when I leave, but for now that's my plan. I hope you guys understand. Thanks again!!

We've made tons of friends and through the ups and downs, we have never regretted giving to other Gaians who are in need.

Rules

Disobeying certain rules will result in being added to the Blacklist.

1.) If you are a questor, make sure your quest thread is presentable and shows your dedication to your quest. It should have at least 2 posts with organized information about your quest, donaters, progress, links, etc. Also, make sure your quest thread is at least 5 pages long.

2.) You shouldn't post an application with a quest thread that has a small number of pages yet you started the quest thread months ago. And we don't want to see you applying for a donation the same day you made your quest thread which is only a page long. Be realistic!

3.) Do not pm any of our donators asking them to donate to you. They kindly chose to donate to us and they don't need n00bs begging for gold.

4.)A lot of people have been posting their applications and claim they've read the rules, but really they haven't. We usually give them another chance to post their application, but not anymore. We don't have many rules and we don't make you do any crazy things. Therefore, anyone who has their quest thread rejected CANNOT apply again. It's not our fault that you can't follow simple rules.

5.) Don't beg, and do not PM us unless to thank us for donating. Post your application in the charity thread.

6.) No excuses. We don't want to hear that your dog died, or you were hacked (unless you have proof). And please, do not apply for a donation using your mule. If you have a main account, use it.

7.) No 1337, chatspeak, or foul language. Also, do not excessively bump, since it drowns out applications/other posts. Chatting is okay though.

8.) Be nice, meaning say 'please' and 'thank you'. Don't be a n00b!

9.) Fill out the appropriate donation form shown below:

11.) Once we send you a donation, you have one week to confirm the trade. It's not good when we have gold just sitting in the bank when it could go to other Gaians. If you do not confirm the trade in one week, we will cancel it and you will not receive a donation.

12.) We are under no obligation to donate to you, so do not get upset if we don't send you a donation. And remember, once you are rejected, you cannot apply again.

13.) Once you have submitted an application, please do not repost it if we don't respond right away. We will get to you! We rarely miss applications, but it can happen, so if you are sure we have missed you, then you can repost.

14.) We rarely give out second donations, since our funds should really go to those who have not recieved a donation yet. So please do not ask for another donation unless you are starting a brand new quest once you have finished your other quest.

15. All donations to the charity can be sent to Akiramay.
