Well I have a Lappy that actually works well now, and I opened my tarot shop again, so I'll probably be around a lot more. I can keep you company!

Yay! heart Now I just need to get through this new training for work and I'll be set. The only time this job is stressful or hectic is when I have training for new stuff...and then all heck seems to break loose. >.>

New stuff can be very overwhelming sometimes o.o I just started a new job and the first Saturday there was INSANE xD

I know eh? I started this job in September but I was only getting 5-15 hours a week. I offered to take over another position (in addition to what I do already) and ended up being told I could do that for now until they filled it and they are training me for something else. It's been a crazy couple of days, not that there's much to the new stuff but I've had to actually wake up in the morning lol. o.O

You were working at a clothing store with your mother before right? (I'm surprised I remember that so it's probably way off razz ). Is the new job something similar?

Waking up in the morning is the worst lol I tried getting up early to go the gym... that didn't last long xD

And I was working at a children's clothes store that was the sister store to the one my mom manages, so you were close! And now I'm working at a woman's clothes store, which was completely different then children's wear, and my new job is at a Bridal shop, which is still completely different, but super fun!

Yeah...sometimes I wish I could get up in the morning and do stuff. But then I realize it's never going to happen. >.<

Ahhh, that's right. I think it would be interesting to work in a bridal store. ^_^

I can't really sleep in anymore, between my puppy and work I naturally wake up at 7:30 am every morning. Even when I want to sleep in gonk

And I've been doing mostly bridal fittings/alterations and working with Prom girls. The customers are a lot nicer then I'm used to, and I like working one on one with them, it makes the shopping experience more personal. We try to do that at the other place I work, but people there are usually bitchy and don't want your help. stressed

Ooh, that sucks. I know what it's like with a new puppy. My dog is a year old now but last spring/summer really sucked. It's like having a baby lol. I kind of schedule my own hours with my job so it's rather nice. I usually end up working in the afternoon/early evening. ^_^

Cool. Nice customers is a big bonus. Some people...well I wonder if they should be allowed in public. gonk Even as a customer I want to slap people sometimes. (How did I survive working in a coffee shop for 4 years? Crazy bitchy people before they've had their coffee can be scary...)

My puppy was a year old in Oct. but I didn't get her until January, so i've had her just a little over a year =3 she is the greatest. I'm missing her cause I had to leave her at my moms while i'm out of town.

And there are just so many people that come in the store that i just want to stab in the face. And I'm not a people person, so I really don't know how I became so good at retail xD It's a mystery!

Aww, I miss my puppy when I leave him too. It's always great coming back though. I can be gone an hour and he'll be all "OMG YOU'RE BACK! YOU MUST PICK ME UP/PLAY NOW!" *Jumpdancelick* <3<3<3<3

I think being good at retail takes a certain amount of cynicism, a lot of patience and some kind of miracle. razz
