THE Charity Safari began August 25 and goes through August 28th.
To get a ticket, please start a trade with me, THE Santa Claus, for 300g. I will confirm the trade and PM you a ticket. Please post the ticket in your sig or thread or elsewhere to spread the word. REMEMBER, EVERY BIT OF GOLD I GET FROM TICKET SALES GOES TO PARTICIPATING CHARITIES HERE ON GAIA! Thank you!

2. Rules of THE Charity Safari Game

* Each Participating Charity will post a jungle icon that looks like this:

* Next to each jungle icon is the name of the animal representing that charity.

* Use THE Travel Log form on the next post to keep track of which "animal" each charity is showing. They must be listed with their charities and they must be in the final order on THE Travel Log form.

* DON'T START YOUR SAFARI BEFORE AUGUST 25TH! I will mix up the order of the charities just before the event begins to make it easier for me to judge whether it's been filled out correctly.

* PM me, THE Santa Claus, with the completed form. Please do not post the completed form anywhere.

* Each winner will get a small prize. One winner will get THE Grand Prize of an OCT 05 Thank You Letter! Good luck!

6. THE Bumping Contest Rules

*Bumpers must hold a ticket, which The Santa Clause sells for just 200g. (The cost for a ticket goes up to 300g on August 25th.)

*Post in this thread and please number your bumps. (Any bump/post that isn't numbered doesn't count towards the bumping contest.)

*If you are bumping for a charity, you must put what charity you are bumping for in each post. (Ex: Bump 1 for ______)

*Bumps must be numbered sequentially (1,2,3,4...). Misnumbered bumps may be disqualified. If you see you have missed some numbers, please make those bump numbers before continuing with your bumps (if you left off at 94 but missed #22, start with bump 22 then continue with bump 95 and on). Failure to fix misnumbered bumps could cost you the prize.

*You may use the word "bump," a graphic, or another posted word/phrase --just please be consistent -- it makes it easier to check!

*THE Bumping Contest ends when I post "THE Bumping Contest is Finished."

*There will be two bumping contests. The first one runs till the 24th. The second starts on the 25th and runs till the 28th.

*THE Second Bumping Contest began on page 748 (August 24, 11:51 PM).

*The bumper with the most bumps wins a Coco Kitty Plushie. 2nd Place Prize is 3,000g. Third Place Prize is 1,000g. Bumpers who tie for two places (or all three places) will split the winnings. (If two folks tied for 2nd and 3rd place would split the 4k equally, each getting 2k)

*Standings will be recorded below in the Post 7.

9. How Charities Can Participate in the Safari

+ Post the name of animals to represent your charity by the "jungle" icon on the first page of your charity thread.

EXAMPLE

Please keep the description short (1 - 3 words) and use the above icon.

+ Bump the event thread at least 10 times per day average (may bump all 40 times on one day, or any split you like). Charity Bumps must include the name of the charity and may be bumped by any staff member. These bumps do not count for the staff member's personal bump count.

+ Post a banner and link to this event somewhere on the first page of your charity thread.

+ Put up a new poll for the event

+ Keep actively giving throughout the event

These are all optional, but the more of the above tasks your charity completes, the more prize gold your charity will get at the end of the event.

BUMPING CONTEST RESULTS:

First Bumping Contest that ran before the event Results:
Mappia got 1st with 2200 bumps, and wins 5k!
AKA Superman got 2nd with 2037 bumps and wins 3k!
Pilliwinks got 3rd with 528 bumps and wins 1k!

Second Bumping Contest that ran only during this event Results:
v.a.m.p.i.r.e.-PRINCE won 1st place with 1276 bumps and wins a Coco Kitty!
AKA Superman won 2nd place (again!) with 1026 bumps and wins 3k (for a total of 6k!)
