Post 2: THE Rules for playing THE Charity Easter Hop Game

* THE Charity Easter Hop Game has begun and will end April 2. I need the form in the correct order to qualify for a prize. You must have a ticket to win a prize. Tickets are 400g. Simply start a trade with me with "ticket" somewhere in the title. All ticket holders may play, including mules, but each must PM me their answer.

* Each Participating Charity has posted a banner linked to this event on their first page. Near the banner is a text description of an article of clothing to represent that charity.

* Use the "Participating Charities" form in the next post to keep track of which article of clothing each charity is "wearing." I'm not worried about every word being perfect, but they must be listed with their charities and they must be in the order they'll appear on Easter on THE Participating Charities form ON EASTER. Some charities have a short story with their clothing description. Please only use up to 4 words for each charity to describe what they are wearing so I can see quickly that you have the right answers.

* PM me, THE Santa Claus, with the completed form. Please do not post the completed form anywhere.

Post 4: THE Easter Logic Puzzles

To be eligible to win March 2007 Thank You Letter containing Mythic Hair or Spirit Falcon, or an Easter Basket 2k6 (2 of 6) containing an Easter Bunny Shirt, you must buy a ticket to this event (only 400g) and solve at least one of the Logic Puzzles below. Each Clever Elf who solves at least one of the Logic Puzzle Games will get a worthless prize, but one random Clever Elf will get a March 2007 Thank You Letter containing Mythic Hair or Spirit Falcon, and another random Clever Elf will get an Easter Basket 2k6 (2 of 6) containing an Easter Bunny Shirt! I choose random Clever Elves by giving each one a number for each puzzle solved and then using Random Number to pick a number randomly to win. Each logic puzzle will get progressively harder. You may PM me about them as often as you like. This is not "first answer = only answer" situation. I definitely believe in second (and third and so on) chances! Each person may only win one prize (including mules). I would like to thank Everett Kaser who designed the game Sherlock, upon which all these puzzles were based.

First Easter Logic Puzzle

The elves are painting eggs with using different tools. The eggs are painted in order from smallest to biggest. Which elf used which tool and which Primary color, in order from smallest to biggest egg?

The egg painted red was smaller than the one Sally painted.
Peter worked next to the elf using a brush.
Blue paint was used on an egg bigger than the one the sponge was used to paint.
Bonnie used her fingers to paint her eggs red, not yellow.

Second Easter Logic Puzzle

The elves put on a little dance variety show. Please make sure your answers follow the given format: In which order did which elf wear which color costume decorated with which gems to do which dance?

A tap dance was presented with fantastic precision.
Brenda wore a white costume with onyx gems on it.
The hula was danced next to the gold costume.
The jig was danced in a pink costume with topaz gems on it.
The hula was seen before the topaz gems.
The red costume was decorated with rubies.
Holly danced next to the gold costume.
Dawn, not Tina, wore amethysts.
The Belly Dance came after the topaz gems.
The red costume was seen next to the pink costume.
The hula was danced by the elf wearing onyx gems.

Third Easter Logic Puzzle

The elves are putting on a play in five acts. Each of five elves painted scenery for one act.
Which elf painted which kind of weather on which landscape with which birds while eating which snack? Please make sure the answers are in this order!

The Forest was painted between the one eating Pie and Jixi.
Pixi ate Brownies while painting Eagles, not Sparrows.
The Stormy scene was painted between the Windy scene and Dixi.
Jixi painted Cardinals while eating Cake, not Candy.
The Cloudy scene was next to the scene with Robins flying.
The elf eating Cookies painted the scene of an Island, not a Field.
Brownies were next to Cake.
Dixi painted the Sunny scene, not the Rainy scene.
Jixi painted next to the scene of Mountains.
The Geese were painted next to the Cake.
The Pie was between Trixi and Wixi.
The scene of a Beach was a Windy scene and was painted by the elf eating Cake.
Jixi painted some time after the Sunny scene was painted.
Trixi painted next to the elf eating Cake.

Fourth Easter Logic Puzzle

An Easter tradition up here is the feeding of our magical butterflies. Figure out which elf fed which butterfly which flower while they sat on which fruit in which color bowl with which feather in which order? Please put your answers in this exact order for my sanity in checking them. Thank you!

Our magical butterflies sit on fruits like Grapes.
Sally was between the Teal bowl and the Oriole feather.
The Hairstreak butterfly ate from a Dove feather while sitting on a Blueberry.
The Red bowl was next to the Banana.
Jasmine fed her butterfly Daisy nectar with an Oriole feather.
The Cardinal feather was next to the Golden bowl.
The butterfly ate Tulip nectar while sitting on an Apple in the Red bowl.
Jasmine was next to the Carnation.
Sally fed the Copper butterfly with a Flamingo feather.
Raina was next to the Blue Jay feather.
The Cardinal feather was next to the Banana.
Sally was next to the Monarch butterfly.
A Blue Jay feather fed the butterfly Iris, not the Daffodil, nectar.
The Copper butterfly was next to the Pear.
The Flamingo feather was before the Azure butterfly.
Hannah, not Dawn, fed the Hairstreak butterfly.

Fifth Easter Logic Puzzle

Seven elves have raised bunnies in their flower gardens, all in a row. Which elf kept which breed of bunny with which color fur in which flower garden, giving them which food and which treats (fruits) with which bird friends in which order left to right? (NOTE: While the items were taken from a bunny care website, there is NO guarantee that they are matched with any accuracy since the puzzle is random. Please research on your own before caring for real bunnies.)

The last garden far to the right was where the bunny got Pineapple for a treat.
The Lemon treat was fed to the bunny with the Cardinal bird friend.
Susie's garden was next the one with a Sparrow flying in it.
The Dove's bunny friend was given Alfalfa to eat and Bananas for a treat.
Jessica was next to the Lilac breed bunny.
The French Lops breed bunny played in the Fern garden eating Carrots.
The Oriole bird was next to the bunny with Sable fur.
The bunny with Steel-gray fur was in the Lily garden.
Susie's garden was next to the French Lops breed of bunny.
Honey, not Kelly, gave her bunny Kiwi as a treat and a Blue Jay for a friend.
The Tulip garden was some where to the left of the Beveren breed of bunny.
Jessica's bunny was a French Lops breed.
Dorothy was next to the garden with the Blue Jay bird in it.
The Mini Rex breed bunny ate a Pear for its treat, not Watermelon.
Mary was next to the bunny with Orange fur.
A Dove flew in the Daisy garden.
Bread was given to the bunny in the Daffodil garden with the Oriole bird friend.
The bunny with Red fur was next to the bunny who got Kiwi fruit for a treat.
The Carnation garden had a Sparrow flying in it.
The Flemish Giants breed bunny either ate Pineapple for a treat OR had Orange fur, but not both.
The Holland Lops breed bunny had an Oriole bird for a friend, not a Canary.
Pineapple was given to the bunny next to the Daisy garden.
The Netherland Dwarf ate an Apple for a treat in the garden of Roses.
The bunny with Tri-color fur was next to the Fern garden.
Mary's bunny had Tan fur, not White.
Julia's bunny was a Flemish Giants breed.
The Flamingo helped it's bunny friend eat its Wheat.
Grass was the food given to the bunny next to the one with Steel-gray fur.
Susie fed her bunny Peas, not Oats.
This clue is important, and rather long: The Flamingo was two gardens away from the bunny with Steel-gray fur, and Peas were NOT between them.

There will be two avatar contests (at least). One is a TekTek contest and the other is a "Snapshot" contest. Both will have an Easter Theme. These are the only contests that you need to pay extra for. Start the trade with me, please, unless you already gave extra gold over the price of your ticket to THE Santa Claus, in which case I can get it from him.

RULES for TekTek Easter Avatar Contest:

1) Entry fee is 100g. Avatar must have a Easter Theme.
2) Any skin color, hair, eye and mouth is fine.
3) There is no limit to the cost of your Easter TekTek Avatar.
4) Once you enter your submission you can not edit it in any way.
5) You may enter as many times as you like, paying 100g for each entry.
6) Please PM me with your entry form below.
7) QueenFey will judge the contest and her judgment is final.
8) 40% of entry fees will go to the 1st place winner. 30% of proceeds will go to the 2nd place winner. 20% will go to the third place winner. Prizes are guaranteed to be more than 100g each.

(Hint: It may be hard for the judge to make out everything you add on if it is too cluttered.)

*Bumpers must hold a ticket, which The Santa Clause sells for just 400g.

*Post in this thread and please number your bumps. (Any bump/post that isn't numbered doesn't count towards the bumping contest.)

*There will be two bumping contests. The first one starts on February 23rd and runs till March 22nd. The second starts on the 23rd of March and runs till the 2nd of April.

*The bumper with the most bumps wins Easter Bunny Ears. Second Place Prize is an Easter Basket 2k6 (1of 6) containing a Bunny Tail. Third Place Prize is a Large Easter Egg. Bumpers who tie for two places (or all three places) will split the winnings.

Post 11: How Charities Can Participate in THE Charity Easter Hop

* Post a banner (see next Post) linked to this event somewhere on the first page of your charity.

* Post the name of an article of clothing to represent your charity (remember the Sock Hops in those old movies?) near the banner linked to this event. You can use a graphic, but make sure there is a brief text description, too.

* PM me with the name/link of your charity that you wish to participate.

* You do not need to purchase a ticket to the event unless you also want to play the games and/or join the contests. But if you do purchase a ticket, all of that gold will be given to charities, too!

* Only charities that are giving throughout the event are eligible to participate in this event. While they do not have to be listed on THE List of Charities, participating charities must have been giving for at least one month before the beginning of the event.

* Bumps in this thread are welcome and counted throughout the pre-event and event for charities. I usually find a bit of extra gold for those charities that bump this thread for me. Thank you for all you do to make Gaia the fantastic site it is!
