I've called in today on a sick day (university). Basically just told them i couldn't get in as my car wouldn't start. Technically it won't, but more because I won't start it. I'm feeling very despondent lately... hopefully that will change as it's not like me at all.

It's not a problem. And no, things aren't really sorted. still struggling and I've arranged a meeting with my personal tutor to discuss the possibility (and ramifications) of dropping out/switching courses.
