Welcome to My Charity ^___^

Hi, welcome to Strange Muffins, a charity giveaway that tries to help people get the items they want while having fun and make new friends. We give out letters to lucky Gaians each month, donate gold to help people meet goals, and have fun contests. Take a quick look around the first page and start posting. The best way to get stuff is be active and make friends.

I started Strange Muffins because I wanted to make people happy. It may seem silly but for me the best part of Gaia is spreading joy to others. I’ve helped out at a number of charities in the past and now I’m starting my own. I hope everyone can be nice and have fun. New people are always welcome. I try to keep things simple so feel free to pm me with any questions.

There is no reason for the Name Strange Muffins other than I really like muffins.

Every month I’ll try and hold special contests so check the contest post often.

Giveaway Opportunity
So I will be able to afford another giveaway. I'm just trying to think of a good time that I'll be available and that will be properly festive. I kind of want to do one at halloween but I think I'll be really busy in real life around then. So maybe xmas time would be good.

I was wondering if any of you have any ideas suggestions for when I should do it? Also any ideas for making a better giveaway? You all know what I do at giveaways so if you have ideas for improving things I would love to hear them.

Also if anyone wants to volunteer to help that would be great. I would love it if someone wanted to help with random giveaways, trivia, ect. If you have an idea for a game you would like to run in my giveaway I would happily provide prizes. Also since staff wouldn't be able to win anything I would be paying anyone who helped out. Pay would be based on what you were doing and how much you would be on ect.

The rules are simple so please try to follow them. It's not hard, I promise. If you can't follow the rules I'll give you a warning or a thread helper will give you a warning. If you continue to break the rules I'll have no choice but to put you on my ignor list. If I do that you won't be able to post in the thread any more. To this day I have yet to add anyone so please let me keep it that way, I would be sad if I had to add someone to the ignor list.

Fill in this form and I’ll look it over when I get a chance. You don’t need to a quest page to apply, just an item you want to buy. If you could put “Yay muffins!” at the top of your post so I know you read this you’ll have much greater chances of getting a donation. I’ll donate what I can but I don’t always have gold on hand so some donations might have to wait a bit. To insure everyone gets gold you can only recive a donation once every six months. The longer you hang around the thread before asking the more gold you are likely to get, a week is probably the amount of time to wait to maximize your donation.

Also note, you're chances of getting a letter are much lower than getting gold.

Fill in this form and I’ll look it over when I get a chance. You don’t need to a quest page to apply, just an reason for wanting a letter. If you could put “Coco Kitty Muffins!” at the top of your post so I know you read this you’ll have much greater chances of getting a donation. I’ll donate what I can but I don’t always have letter on hand so only a few will be given out each month. You can apply each month but the more letters you have received the less likely you are to get a letter, I want everyone to have a chance at getting a letter, not just the same people over and over. You must be active in the thread to receive a letter! Don't worry about being on at the same time as me, I check back through old pages to see who is active.

I send trades out about once a week but sometimes I get behind. Rest assured that if you fill everything out right and put the quote at the top of your form you will get a donation. Just know sometimes it takes me a while when I get behind (I've gotten as much as three months behind).

My main thread helper, she reads through all the posts and lets me know who has filled out donation forms. I'll let her tell you about herself in her own words.

♥About Me♥
Stuff you guys can read if you are bored!! XD

-Lily Maple- has been a proud member of Gaia since 2006.
Most Gaians call her Lily, but Maple and that rose girl has also been seen.
She has successful made small profits off of the Marketplace and was able to
complete quests with that money.

She enjoys drawing animals in real life, but on the computer she has Photoshop
drawing skills of a 2-year old. She usually plays point and click games, escape the
room, strategy games, and RPG's.
In the distant past, Lily has played:

♥ Maple Story (Origin of her name)
♥ Runescape (She did not like that game. Too laggy on her computer)
♥ And a bunch of others that she is too lazy to list.

Lily also stresses the need for literacy.
She understands and sometimes uses phrases like "LOL" of "LMAO",
but "HeY bRo WuZ HapPeniN? R u DoWn 4 Da ParTy 2Nite?" makes her think the
person is a complete buffoon and has an IQ of a rock.

On a happier note, she loves eating sweets. The words "sweets" and "cheap" in one
sentence can make her day. As a girl, it is natural for her to like cute plushies.
Plushes that are big and fuzzy are her favorite! Lily loves Totoro and Gigi. (These
characters come from the Ghibli films)
