Welcome to my second third charity, Once Upon a Month.
Here at Once Upon a Month, I put some "large" items up for grabs. You apply and get a chance to receive one of those items or a gold donation. There's no quickie/immediate donations - you have to wait until the month is over, but you don't exactly have to stick around and be here all the time either. emotion_bigheart

YDA and OWS are the same person. I had a baby back in December 2013, so due to lack of free-time, I decided to close down my first charity, Your Destniy Awaits: A Charity for Kitty Questers. The charity is as it sounds; I gave donations to those that were questing for cat items. It was open for about 7 years; a good run. I also ran the Hit and Run Charity with my RL mom for 2-and-a-half years. I have since changed the way this new charity would run so that it was less time consuming (hahahahahahaha.... that was the original idea, at least. xd ).

There's a lot going on in the world right now, and since I set April up late, I'm going to do some Random donations. Choose if you would like Gold/Platinum or random item(s) from my inventory.

gaia_diamond You will be put into a list of potential donatees. I will use RNG to determine who will get what at the end of the month.
gaia_diamond That's it. Just a waiting game. You can hang out if you'd like or come back later.
gaia_diamond Applications will be accepted through the 29th. Donations will usually be sent out by the end of the month sent out as soon as I get online and update (maybe once or twice a week?).
gaia_diamond One donation per person per month. So yes, you can come back next month!
gaia_diamond The same person cannot receive the top donation twice in a row though. You can still apply the following month, you'll just be excluded from the first giveaway that gives you the top item.
gaia_diamond If you read these instructions, please include the word "gimme" in your application.
gaia_diamond If you fail to fill out the application correctly, you'll get chances to fix it... but you won't be added to the list of possible donations sent a donation if it isn't changed.
gaia_diamond Some time towards the end of the month before I end applications/send out donations (or when you put in your app), please post or PM me a list of the monthly items/gold in order from your most wanted to least wanted. This will assist me in determining who gets what in a more timely manner. If you fail to do so before I start RNGing for order of donations, you'll get whatever is worth the most at the time of your name being selected.
gaia_diamond At the end of the month when donations are sent out, trade must be finished in 2 weeks or else it will be cancelled and funds returned to the charity.

Since I work a full-time job (8-5 M-F), I'm not really able to get to updates as often as I'd like.
