I am a big fan of the George Foreman.. But when on the skillet. I use vegan butter lightly on the outsides of both pieces of bread. For the kids I do 2 pieces of cheese. Put it on a hot skillet that is no stick or sprayed with no stick spray. Leave it for fiveish minutes until it is brown, flip it.. repeat. smile

Hmmm, so I didn't do it wrong. Well I dunno what happened. Apparently I haven't had it in so long I forgot what it really tasted like XD

What did you butter it with? And did you let the pan get hot? And what kind of cheese? Poor quality margarine or cheese can taint the flavor.,

I didn't let the skillet get hot first, that may have been half the problem, lol. I used kraft cheese and country butter.

Then the skillet was the issue. smile You need it to crisp up which calls for a screaming hot pan. Test it by dripping a bit of water on to it.. if it becomes steam, you've got it hot enough.
