I also accept, and deeply appreciate donations. I don't use them for myself, but if I can sell them or give them to someone else who wants them so I can keep on giving, it is a huge help and the wealth will spread to other Gaians in their quests.
Despite not being given an ounce of contribution and being treated like crap when I was questing, I do still want to help others achieve their quests. This thread is dedicated to the trueness of charity, to giving without expecting anything in return, like countless bumps or to be the first person on a certain page. Read the rules and you get a donation. Sounds easy, right?
Why am I doing this? My dream avi I had to pay for entirely by myself, and I understand how others feel when questing. It's difficult, and while inflation goes up, it's impossible to get noticed in your own quest. Please keep in mind, this is my gold, and my donations. If you're a d**k, chances are good you're not getting squat. This is a positive place meant for good things.
What do I get out of this? Nothing, other than the hope that this may be a 'historical' charity that starts a lot more charities like this, where Gaians who have what they need give to those who struggle. If you've been donated to, it's always kind to pay it forward when you can (or pay it back so that the charities who helped you can help others, too).

So chat, and ask! If you don't ask politely, chances are good you ain't gettin' anything. However, you HAVE to ask. If you just say 'hi', I'm going to assume you're just saying hi.

Rules:
1. Keep this chat nice and friendly. :> Everyone here has something in common.. Either wanting to help others, or looking to accomplish their dream avi, so be kind and considerate to keep this place nice and comfortable. Remember, kids, what goes around comes around.
2. Ask politely. Make me want to give you something. If you demand something or don't ask politely, I'm not going to give you anything. This is my gold, and I could be spending it on a lot of other stuff, but I've chosen to help others, so make it worth it ^_^ If you don't ask politely, you won't get a thing, so if you haven't been donated to, you probably didn't ask nicely.
3. Do NOT get greedy. Do not harass others who are enjoying this thread for items. I give what I can, and repeatedly posting demanding more is not okay.
4. Please don't b***h and moan if you haven't been given anything. I do try to give something to everyone. Just continue conversation, and when you see I'm active, then maybe ask again politely. I review the pages and I try hard to keep up with requests, but sometimes I get burried under other things, or I have to, y'know, live in my REAL LIFE for a few minutes. If you don't get something, there's a good chance I thought you were too much of an a** and just ignored you.
5. Do not beg, do not repeatedly post your quest. It's annoying. Do not ask for something specific, announce your quest and ask for some help, that's it.
6. No donations for netspeakers/people who type like they're ten.
7. Initial post must have the sentence "May I plz to be receivings a donation?" so I know you've read the rules. I will know if you haven't.
8. If you call me LILAC, you will be immediately denied a donation. No, it's not a typo of lilac, it's just LILIC.
9. If you didn't read the rules, but asked politely, I will ask you to read the rules and ask again. If I find the way you asked annoying/impolite and you didn't read the rules, I will deny you immediately.
10. If I say you're denied, you're denied. Don't bother asking again.
11. I have every right to deny whomever I want a donation. It's my gold. If you've been denied, for whatever reason I see fit, leave quietly. There are thousands of charities out there.
12. Don't bump. It's obnoxious. Also, we have lives, so if someone doesn't talk within ten minutes after you post, don't throw a tantrum.
13. Give me a reason to donate to you. Ask politely. Just posting the key sentence is not enough. I like to know you're an actual person, and it gives me an idea of if you're really someone I want to donate to.
