Well, I guess I'm posting here. It's actually a blessing in disguise to leave gaia. I don't think I will ever leave anytime soon since I'm stuck in the blackhole which is the GD. Keep coming back. I didn't put the items on my wishlist, but I'm questing for a few.

Mikerochip: I liked the concept of the random items, but... it would be nicer if it was like a rare event. Like say you could find it while clicking around, like the gift boxes. Not the purchasing. I hate the purchasing.

I can understand why so many people are outraged with gaia these days. Just like you said, gaia has become one VERY materialistic company, but what company isn't these days? sad
I haven't spent much time on gaia, shifting in and out of hiatuses, so for the time being I'm ashamed to say I'm still 'hooked'. emo
I'm sorry to here that gaia has become so wrong to you, but I wish you the best for your new site, and I'm sure it will prosper greatly! ^^
