So as you can see, I've been playing the TCG known as Cardfight Vanguard. Which is the theme of this Give Away.
Here are the basics:
- The vanguard's grade will ALWAYS start at 0.
- The max grade is 4. (Grade 4 is optional, see below for details)
- There will be a pot that grows depending on what triggers pop up and if ya'll can upgrade the vanguard itself.
- The pot will start at 5000 gold.
- Once the vanguard hits grade 3, all pot increases will be doubled.
- Each person may roll only once per day.
- Please copy and paste what trigger effect you get or do something that draws attention to the post you got a trigger on so I can update things quickly and efficiently.
How to make the pot grow:
- A successful upgrade will increase the pot by 1,000,000 gold.
- Roll FOUR 12-sided dice and if your total is in these ranges, the following effects will be applied:
Heal Trigger (5-9) = +5000 gold and If you haven't rolled within the last 24 hours, roll again. *Update* Upon a successful heal, 5,000,000 will be added to the pot.
Draw Trigger (12-16) = +5000 gold and then use the number generator to generate a number between 4000 and 11000. The number generated will be rounded to the nearest thousand and then increased by 1000x then added to the pot.
Stand Trigger (31-35) = +5000 gold and roll again.
Critical Trigger (40-44) = +5000 gold and upgrade the vanguard.
Cross-Ride Bonus: If anyone rolls a 4 or 48, the pot will automatically double. If the vanguard is at grade 3, the pot will quadruple.
Grade 4 details:
-When the vanguard is at 3, the next person who rolls a crit will now have the OPTION to ride to Grade 4 OR take the pot.
-If you ride to grade 4 then you must roll yet another crit in order to win anything.
-How ever, the next time a crit is reached, that person and the person who rode to grade 4 will split the pot.
Bonuses to riding to grade 4:
-split pot
-pot increases by 10,000,000 per day
-pot increases, except for the daily 10 million, are TRIPLED
-the person who rode to grade 4 is GUARANTEED to win something
-the only down sides is that the cross ride bonus will no longer be applied and people who did not roll prior to vanguard reaching grade 3 are still not eligible to win anything and will have their crit voided.
Break-Ride Bonus - The following bonuses will be applied based on how many days a single person rolls the same number in a row. (Bonus rolls do NOT count):
2 times = +200,000 to the pot
3 times = +3,000,000 to the pot AND roll again
4 times = +40,000,000 to the pot AND receive 7,777,777 gold.
5 times or more = Receive 1,000,000,000 gold.
How you win:
Once the Vanguard is at Grade 3, the next person to roll a critical trigger will win the pot. It's that simple. But as you can see, it's going to take a community effort to obtain the pot. Once it's been won, it will reset back to 5000 and begin all over again.
If the pot resets, then everything gets reset and you can roll for the new pot even if you have already rolled that day.
Additional Rules:
1. If you fail to re-roll when you happen to win one during the same day, it becomes null and void.
2. Once the vanguard hits grade 3, any critical trigger rolled by someone who had not rolled prior to it becoming grade 3 will become null and void.
3. If you fail to resolve a trigger effect that you acquired within 24 hours, then the effect will be null and void BUT the gold increase from rolling the trigger itself will still count.
