Our PS2 is almost always hooked up to the TV in the living room.
I want to play Katamari, so I may do that this weekend.
Every time I think about playing, Gabe jumps at the opportunity to play something.
It's like we always want to use the PS2 at the same time.

Or I could finish that Donkey Kong game on the Wii... that game is super difficult, for some reason. Almost impossible to play without another person.

I only played Katamari a few times, but I LOVED it!

I used to have a Wii, but I gave it to my brother. I couldnt afford any games for it at the time and figured he would get more use out of it.

I had a lot of downloaded games on it though that I miss. Mario RPG mostly. Loved that game.

I also miss Animal Crossing. :T

Gabe loves Mario RPG, and he hates most RPGs, so that's saying something.
I've never played it though, but it looks fun!

Our Wii is "hacked" so we don't buy games for it.
We just download stuff onto an external hard drive and it works just as if we actually bought the games.
Same with our Xbox 360.
We're terrible people.
xD
I think, right now, the only system we actually buy games for are our handhelds, the DS and 3DS.

Katamari is sooooo fun! I remember watching my best friend play it all the time and I thought it was stupid.
Rolling stuff up into a little ball... how dumb.
Oh how wrong I was. It's addicting!

I've never played Animal Crossing either, but it looks fun too. I heard that there's gonna be a 3DS version coming out this year, so I may look into that.

Gabe got us a used 3DS for like... $70. Perfect working condition and everything.
I say "us" because we were just going to share the thing since, between the two of us, there weren't many games we wanted. Plus, he still has his DS and I still have my DS Lite for my Advanced games (stupid top screen doesn't work anymore).
Until the news of Pokemon X & Y.
Damn you, Gamefreak!

I highly suggest playing Soul Silver or Heart Gold.
It's a great way to get used to the newer games.
Plus, it's an amazing remake of Silver/Gold.
Then give Black or White a try. Playing Black and White 2 aren't really necessary unless you're really invested in the story line. Still, they're very fun games.

Are the Soul Silver/ Heart Gold for regular DS?

Yup.
The games still seem to be pretty expensive, but I think it's mainly because of the Pokewalker that comes with it.
I miss mine.

I checked them out on amazon. I might go for a used copy to save some money.

What's a pokewalker?

WAIT, now that I think of it I bought a pokemon game for DS...but can not remember for the life of me what version it was.

Must go ransack and figure this out...

A used copy is a good idea.

A Pokewalker was a Pokeball-type device that you could clip onto your jeans (or whatever) and it would count your steps as you walked.
A certain amount of steps could level up the Pokemon you had in it and help you get better items.
It connected to Soul Silver or Heart Gold, and you could carry one Pokemon at a time in it.
Also, if you were around other people with Pokewalkers, you could trade things with them using it.
I swear everyone and their mom had a Pokewalker at the first anime convention I went to a few years ago. I kept getting pulled aside when people would see mine on me. Lol

I washed mine in the laundry.
