i just had a veggie chicken burger with some pita bread and garden veggie dip.

but i had a bacon, egg and cheese on bagel from McD's for breakfast.

Buy fruit that you can bake with if it's turning but not bad?
You can freeze it at that point and use it within three months. I don't worry about how many bananas we buy because of that. Banana bran muffins are actually really good.
Or buy frozen fruit. It's just as healthy if it's done right and can be cheaper because of the long shelf life. 3nodding

You could always prepare snacks ahead of time. I usually do that during the school year. Carrots in little containers, other veggies in little containers, apples cut up with some lemon or orange (keeps it from going brown and tastes good), bananas require no prep, crackers and cheese with apple (I slice it differently for this), rice to mix with tuna or other pre-cooked meats - or even with some thicker soups on top... there's all sorts of things you can prep ahead of time with minimal effort so you don't have to when you want to eat it or you can grab it on the go. 3nodding

I'm totally in on the granola bar thing though. ninja They just sit there in the open pantry staring at me all day. Mmmm.

lol, wow, thats alot of cake! too bad you dont have a box of angel food cake too.

if you combine one box of angel food cake mix with a cake mix of any flavor. then then after mixing those 2, you get a new kind of cake mix. you take 3 tablespoons of the new mix, put it in a mug, and then add 2 tablespoons of water and mix until combined. finally, microwave for 1 minute. mmmm.
