tab People have said that humans and nature are one, but have they ever took the time to see why? From the seasons to the trees and to things that you believe does not matter to society. Honestly, people are to indulged into their lives to even take the time to smell the roses.

tab To go even deeper to what I just said, have you ever noticed that a rose is an aspect on our lives. When someone looks at a rose they see beauty and smell heaven. Which is true, but there is so much more to be discovered. From such a marvelous creation starting from the stem. It is quiet smooth and as you head up little thorns start to appear.

tab When you are born you have no worries and when you become a child your problems are so little and ignored. On the bottom part of a stem it is smooth just like your baby days. As your fingers glide up little prickles of thorns are there, but they feel good to the touch so you do not care for those little pricks on the tips of your finger. The same thing as when your a kid playing at the park. Kids laugh at you either because you have food on your blushed cheeks or you accidentally wore two different shoes. You notice, but you act like a cow swatting a fly. You just live on with your life.

tab Then you glide your finger up the rose even more and you stumble on a thorn. You yelp to yourself, "Ow" As you grow older your problems seem to grow with you. You notice them and they affect you. Did you also notice that the thorns around the stem and not just lined up. When you believe your holding the rose in the right spot, but one sneaks up on you. That is exactly like some situations you get in. Some of them just pop up out of no where. Then the sizes of the thorns are different like obstacles in life some affect you more than others.

tab After the stem you feel the soft silky texture of the petals on a bloomed rose. Such beauty captures your attention. That area is the most beautiful and wisest part of your life. Yes, it is your adulthood. From the all the problems you faced made you wise and there for beautiful. The petals spread out and expand to roses around it. It touches others like how you spread your wisdom. Finally, it becomes a beautiful rose bush or garden. Which are your family, friends, and loved ones. One day our garden will shine with such beauty.

tab Looking through something that blocks me from you. Mostly looking at your features and wondering if I looked the same. It seemed you had thin brown seaweed hanging down from where it is attached. To glistening pearls staring at me, your skin had an interesting pattern. It looked like a coral reef. I glanced at you again and you did not have any slits on your body like the rest of us.

tab Your raise your hand and wave slightly as you see me drifting towards you in wonder. Now my tiny nose was barely touching the clear wall that separated me from you.

tab From were your hand waved, that is were I stared. Noticing your hand move closer, you pointed and tapped on the wall. I moved back in shock when the noise seemed vibrating. You giggled at my gesture, but it made me wonder even more.

tab "Why cant I do that? Why cant I do anything you just did?" As I was in deep thought you still stared at me with those two pearls. Then something grabbed my attention once more. On the hand you tapped with was now being held by another.

tab Now, you drifted away towards the dark that I also thought about before. As you drifted, your head was still facing me and those pearls glistened as they watched me still staring at you. You just slowly drifted away, gone until I get the chance to see you again.

tab There in the dark a girl waits. She sits there in the corner of the dark room, or so she thinks, waiting for the bright candle, which died long ago, to burst back into a flame. Her hope fades little by little and her memories of happiness disappear. The dark room loves to torture her and hear her screams. She sits in moments of silence until it screams bloody murder in her ear. She screams not knowing when it will happen again and she cries when it laughs. Again, moments of silence and she weeps softly to herself.

tab She feels that she has been there for years, but she knows deep down inside it wasn’t long ago. She hopes for the thing to stop, but it gets even worse. She can now feel it brush parts of her body. She jumps trying not to imagine what it could be by its touch.

tab Now, she whispers to herself, “Hope, happiness, faith, love.” She tries hard to keep herself calm. She hears the thing laugh softly to itself and she tenses up, waiting for impact.
This time it grabs her quickly by the shoulders and screams into her face. She screams back with all her might. In her mind she thinks, “No more! I will not me tortured! I,” “WILL NOT BE TORTURED!” She screams out loud. The thing quickly shuts up and lets his grip go. She stands up slowly, almost like she forgot how to stand. Then she stutters, “I will be strong. I will have hope. I will have faith. I will have all of these things so I may live. I will live.”

tab Suddenly, the candle that was once out turned back into a flame and she quickly closes her eyes because of the light adjustment. As she slowly opens them she hears birds sing and a slight breeze. She could feel trickles of water on her left arm. Finally, her eyes fully opened and she awed in amazement. She seemed to be in a garden.

tab She stood at the bottom of a hill. On her left was a waterfall that crashed lightly into a river bed. It seemed as gravity was scarce because how lightly it crashed. The grass seemed soft and vibrant. Little tulips sprouted all around and animals roamed. She looked into the distance and the place was enclosed. Giant bushes surrounded the area and mangoes grew on them. Her curiosity grew. She knew Mangoes did not grow on bushes, but on trees. Again she wandered and found a strawberry patch. She picked one and ate it. She smiled when the flavor burst in her mouth. She finally looked up at the hill and saw a gigantic Sakura tree. She slowly walked up the hill and placed her right hand gently on it. The tree was very warm and it had a slight glow. She looked out trying to get a better view of everything. Her smile grew from how beautiful everything was.

tab She heard a whisper, but she couldn’t make it out. “Excuse me? Who’s there?” she asked with worry. “Awaken.” The anonymous voice quietly spoke. She turned to the tree the tree and looked up. She didn’t say a word, but she waited. Again, “Awaken.” And the tree glowed with enormous light.

tab She closed her eyes and slowly opened them once more. She was facing the ceiling with a light and she groaned. She heard people screaming and footsteps rushing towards her. She saw a nurse and she smiled. “You have finally wakened.” The nurse spoke. “My head hurts.” She spoke. “That’s normal. You see, your family got into a bad accident and you were the only survivor. You have been in a coma for 18 months. Do you know anything, how about your name?” The nurse asked. All she did was shake her head.

tab “Oh, I see. Well the only information I can tell you is your name and age. It is Lilly and your currently 15. You were on a plane going home when it crashed. To be honest you were the only survivor on the plane. Oh, also by the way. Sorry if you don’t like your hair I didn’t know if you liked it long or short so I did both. You see your hair was getting kind of a mess and your such an adorable kid I thought I should fix it.” Lilly just laid back down and closed her eyes and sighed. “Thank you.”

Once upon a time, there was a little girl who was created from the Heavens above. Such a wise and old soul she had. Her life mostly filled with loneliness. Unlike other hurtful emotions, loneliness hurts the most. From loneliness comes; depression, anger, sorrow, and even craziness. She has been lied to, abused and even used, but still she seems to amaze us all. For all the troubles she has gone through, a warm smile still upon her face. Her golden blond curls shine in the light as her pink lips start to glide up her face turning into a smile. Her hazel eyes sparkle like a greenish-blue sea reflecting the sun’s rays. The aura she brings to the people around her is warm and inviting. She has cracked once from such despair, but still her bright light was able to shine through. The things that happened in the past are what make her who she is today; loving, caring, and down to earth. She does not want to forget anything because the memories, good or bad, are things that made her who she is. People took advantage of her trust that she gives away so carelessly and freely. They steal away things that she loves and adores. They use her kindness to help themselves in any way possible, trying to make their selves a little bit more happy. She could see the reasons why humans do those things to her and she forgives just as quickly as she is used. Just like always she puts others before herself and one day she might have nothing more to give. Sooner or later her smile will still be there, but the light will vanish and her eyes will still have color, but the shine will be gone. Although, still to her no one and nothing is wrong.
