I got confused when I saw Loch talking about the two-tone hair, and just went, "Huh?" XD Then I remembered about the art I had posted. =)

This is the avatar I had actually been wearing at the time, though I had just about everything right, except I forgot that I had been wearing the White Feather Mask from Picolitrosso's urn. XP And, though it doesn't show as well as in my picture, that certainly is the Unicorn wig I'm wearing. It took me a little bit of time, but I did eventually get the colors to work, as you can obviously see. =)


I know the main things that bother me in this pic, and that's without the coloring, is the proportions of the shoulders and chest, as well as the size of the hand on her hip. Otherwise, I'm pretty happy with it. Though, I think it's kind of cute how there's one leaf that landed right on top of her tiara jewel, that makes it look as if she truly is a warrior for the tree. XP

I think it turned out super cute! And I always liked seeing some things "wrong" after I'd finished a piece because it just made me learn more. The whole time I'd be working on something, I would overlook something like proportion sizes...someone would point it out and I'd be like: *Facepalm* THAT'S why it looks "off" to me!

Well, the clan pooled most of their gold, and we were going to get a set of the Gothic Butterfly for Rose, but even though we had more than enough gold for it, the Market said it wasn't in the seller's store, or some such. D= So, we got some of the cheaper stuff, as well as some stuff that's been on her wishlist for a long while. 3nodding

This truly is not good. =/ It's not even Monday yet, and I can't wait for Thursday to get here. =( I miss the years of getting Christmas Break off completely, but I realize now I don't miss having my sleep schedule completely out of whack, and my body not used to getting up at the right time. But, I do realize, and keep getting told that I need to get out and do stuff more often. Which is partly, but not completely why I'm going to be going to see Avatar likely on Thursday, after work, depending on how early, if I get out early from work. =) I may even see a couple movies this weekend, to make up for some of the ones I've missed.
