[ EVENT #1 ] - - - - Yahtzee! xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Easy game to play this month...Roll the dice and see if you win!

* Post in the thread with post action "Roll Dice"
* Roll five 6-sided dice
* Get all 5 dice to show the same number, you win a prize!
* You can roll once a day up to FIVE times per day, but can only win one of each of the prizes.

You may roll beginning April 1st until midnight CST Saturday, April 27th! -
after that time, I won't accept any more rolls or pass out additional prizes.

Roll five 1s = 1,000g or item worth 1k gold
Roll five 2s = 2,000g or item worth 2k gold

[ EVENT #2 ] - - - - Story Time! xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

April brings flowers and springtime (and allergies) and FUN!
This month, I'll be trying my hand at a bit of an RP (Role Playing) game with you all!
Here's how it will work:

* buy a "ticket" to play in our RP game
* tickets are 5,000g
* 1/2 of the proceeds from ticket sales will go to the mystery recipient, 1/2 will be given to the RP game winner!
* I will sell tickets until midnight CST on Sunday, April 14th
* RP game will begin on Monday, April 15th!

* Please PM your RP Character entry image to Charity Mule-Aalyve Wyyre - You can use tektek or dress your avatar as a character to join in on the fun!
I'll need this image as we take this journey together!
* Include in the PM character traits (at least one good, and one bad trait, please!) of your avatar submitted for the game
(ie. shy, ruthless, brave, angsty, etc)

The Journey Begins....

Aalyve stared at the envelope - curious...who could have sent it? Where did it come from? It was all quite suspicious, yet she could hardly contain her excitement as she carefully broke open the wax seal. Could it be an invitation to the Grand Gala ball perhaps?

Noting the eagle embossed within the hardened wax, Aalyve searched the recesses of her mind to try and unravel the mystery as she broke the seal. She quickly gave up the fruitless attempt at retrieving any of her failing memories. She shrugged and carefully pulled out the parchment inside. Her eyes grew wide as she began reading the decorative script containing the following message:

"The cottage in the woods beckons you. There is magic there. One must always use caution when dealing with anything magical, but it is of grave urgency that you come at once! Gather as many companions as possible and head south through the valley until you reach the river. Further instructions await you there."

Gasping in disbelief, Aalyve began to worry now. This was no gala event she'd been invited to. It seemed someone (or something?) was beckoning her and as many of her friends to the cottage. THE COTTAGE....known for magics of all kinds, only the bravest of the brave journeyed there. Many never returned. Overwhelmed with anxiety now, she promptly began to summon her friends to hold council and determine what to do.

PRIZES for this event will be given along our journey from April 15th through the end of the month! As we reach crossroads in our story, I'll be handing out prizes for the choices your character makes. (sorta like a CI item if you will...)

[ EVENT #3 ] - - - - Daffodil Movement! xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

During the month of April, "The Daffodil Movement" tries to get as many Gaians as possible to equip a daffodil bouquet on their avatars for the whole month to promote cancer awareness. It's the time that we take out of our normal business on Gaia to remember those we've lost, honor those who fought & won, and encourage those presently fighting cancer!

I will do my best to tip every post that I see when your avatar is sporting a daffodil bouquet!
