Raymond the Rat pulls on his whiskers as he always does when he is thinking. "You mean," he say's finally, "we're going to rob a bank?"

"I like popcorn and candy bars," mumbles Fats

No ambition, these two. No vision.

"No one has better training than this gang," I go on, trying to inspire them like a leader should. "We've watched hundreds of movie robberies and we know all the angles. We've seen all the mistakes and we--and I--know how to avoid making them. How can we fail?"

I am beginning to get through to Raymond the Rat. He is the scholarly type and thinks everything through very carefully. He nods his head slowly.

Fats the Funk, on the other hand, asks his usual question, "Can we blast?" He only likes the parts in movies where safes are blown up.

I don't even stoop to answer that one.

Raymond has a better question. "What kind of job do you have in mind?"

"I'm not sure," I admitted. Then I drop my bomb--shell. "But," I add, "it is going to be on the Outside."
