A.) Who really give a flying flip
B.)This is the man who called our last president, and I use that term loosely, racist. He does not have the most out standing record of character. I don't see why people don't believe he said it.

Did you just defend Bush? I agree he wasn't racist, but Ye wasn't far off.

I know but it was what came to mind. I'm not defending Bush I think he was a inbred moron and has led the U.S to certain doom it was just my example.

At least Bush did something for the country, unlike Obama. talk2hand

Yes, if getting us mired in an unwinnable war and ruining the world's opinion of us counts as "doing something". Oh, and also somehow managing to take the country from an economic surplus in the Clinton years to worse deficits than we had under Reagan. And now Obama has to clean up the mess Bush left behind, and that's no small challenge, especially when the Republicans show no inclination towards bipartisan co-operation (and seem far happier actively trying to undermine Obama's initiatives whether they're worthwhile or not). At least give the man a chance.

You sound exactly like one of my co-workers, who's farther to the left on just about every issue than anyone else I've ever known but is also frustrated that Obama's trying to be all things to all people. I think there has to be a balance-- I wouldn't want to see him push an extreme liberal agenda at the expense of all else, but I do think he could be a little more agressive about promoting his policies.

He's trying to do all of that. Thats why he's using the upper class (250,000 a year or more) to help pay off the needy, he's currently making health care bills that the republicans keep bickering against(seriously, Obama's trying to gut your grandma for the kidney cash?) and the war effort is planned to cease....I dunno when, but he's trying.

I would have had no issue with the McCain of 2000. Unfortunately, he had to compromise his principles beyond belief to get the nomination this time out, and choosing Sarah Palin as his running mate was the final nail in the coffin. I do not want to see that woman become president, ever.
