Details are sparse at the moment, but legendary actor Leonard Nimoy, famous for his role as Spock in Star Trek has passed away.

Nimoy, 83, was admitted to the hospital earlier this week due to severe chest pains. He is survived by his wife Susan, and his children Adam and Julie.
