The thing that amazes me the most when it comes to people talking about Aaliyah's death is this, she wasn't full of talent, she wasn't amazing and the only impact she ever really made as far as her career went was that plane crash. The biggest impact Aaliyah had on anything was her death, and that was it. There were plenty of other celebrity deaths around that time of people who were far more important in the music industry and they include George Harrison, Layne Staley, Joey Ramone, and Lisa "Left Eye" Lopes. Those four people had way more impact musically than Aaliyah ever had, and as for her acting career, her acting was mediocre and that's me being kind. So enough about going on with her death, really she wasn't that great, sure she died young and that's sad and all but why not honour people who did more.

You could not be more wrong. aaliyah was famous, she was an amazing person, so nice, warm, and full of energy. She wante to be remembered as a great entertainer since she was a child. she just didn't have the time to do so.

Lisa "Left-Eye" Lopez would burn down your house (if she were alive) for leaving her off the list and putting R Kelly's ho (Aaliyah) on it instead.

*looks for mods to remove this* gonk

aaliyah was not r. kelly's ho so dont b calling her that i was really sad when she died she could hav been a good actress and she was a great singer so she doesnt deserve that kind of disrespect and by the way i hated Lisa "Left-Eye" Lopez she was retarded in my opinion i never really cared for her in tlc although i was sad that she died but i never disrespected her lik u did aaliyah thats just really rude wut the ******** is the matter w/ u?

How disrespectful. How are you gonna come in a thread that is tributing Aaliyah and belittle her like that. All those people you named *excluding Left-Eye* I never heard of before. That doesn't mean I get to talk about the little effect they've done in my life. In my oppinion, those people are far less important to me.
So if you have some other degrading OPPINIONS you have to share, please make your own thread about it and stop posting it on this tribute one. *I'm not trying to be rude, I'm just letting you know, so please don't take this offensive*...
