My mum used to be allergic to cats until we got one, I guess being exposed to it more helped her out.

I wouldn't advise that for everyone though.

They really are! American Bombays are my favorite breed, though.

Oh, and some of you guys with allergies may be helped with the use of a combination of HEPA air filters and medication.

Isn't there a shot you can get for that allergy?

Also, those Sphinx cats are supposedly hypo-allergenic. But really expensive, given that hairlessness is a recessive trait and they likely have health problems. They're an ugly kind of cute, though.

Yeah same with me, my mum was allergic when she had them when she was younger, but then we got one and now she's fine.
