Laptops stay at home. Maybe I should be ashamed to admit it, but I've taken a laptop camping. I actually took a 3 day retreat to the mountains to finish a personal project. I had a bunch of batteries and halfway through a friend came and swapped it for me. I got a ton of work done. No one can interrupt you when your phone has 0 bars. one thing about Alltel, we are well know for rural coverage, I can go into the woods and mountains, of Arkansas camping, where very few people live, and still have service, but I see what your saying, sometimes its nice to have no service You seriously have a problem. A real problem. A really real problem. You need to seek real help for your really real problem. @DeadSeraphim Hey, what kind of bandwidth caps do you have these days? It used to be something absurd. Switches for it are few and far between though, so you might not see much of an increase speed wise. Our ADSL2+ switch was far enough away that we only just topped ADSL1 speeds. |

I could hit that cap without torrents just from our ustream habit (shiba-inu-puppycam was a big hit here). Hulu also takes a quite a chunk out of my monthly allotment. |

When you camp you build fires (matches are fine if you want to bring some), sleep in the open (or pitch a tent if you want) and look at the stars in the sky which is much clearer than your laptop's LCD could ever hope to be. cool |
