I get that " It Works!" page when I type that into FF( also im using Ubuntu), what I dont get is how to attatch that my domain name

Do you mean a domain name for everybody's use (like anyone could type it in and get your page)? Or just one for personal use?

Most "free DNS" services have a dynamic DNS option. DynDNS, No-IP, and EveryDNS (which I use) come to mind.

dyndns.org and no-ip.org spring to mind.

Yeah I found that out after I did some research earlier , weird thing is despite that fact alot of people seem to like their service. I switched over to byethost.com since apparently they have minimal downtown and and the service and admins are really great, but well see I've had false promises before of great service and good admins.

In other news, working while in college ******** sucks. Arriving home at midnight and waking up at 7 isn't pleasant. Plus there's precisely 0 time to do the actual homework, home reading / exercises (which there invariably is at the end of each class), and, you know, social life.

Now, in more important news, Kayla (Pink Desires on Gaia) and Tommy (Liu Xing on Gaia), both somewhat C&Ters are getting married today. Actually, probably as we speak. So if you're on IRC, leave either of them a message of congratulations or something.
And yes, they met through Gaia.
