I figured picking a new PSU would be easy, but I'm torn beween this one and this one.

The first is modular, which appeals to me somewhat, since I could opt to not even plug in the unused cables, but the second has more wattage and apparently more available connections, which I may or may not need in the future as I upgrade, but that's not a flattering picture of the cables. I'd like to keep the ******** of cables to a minimum.

I'd say buy the second one and invest in some rubber bands. Lots and lots of rubber bands.

I have a bag of zip ties.

22 connections was just filling my head with worst case scenarios. That one pic Newegg has of the bundle of connectors isn't very flattering..

I suppose I'll go with it. Hopefully the fan on the top of the PSU won't be an issue with it's position in the case.

I'd go with corsair. I didn't know they had a 650W version, but my 620W is great.
