yea, lol, well first comes getting the site working the way i want. "Eye candy" can wait until the site is more functional.

The general idea of the site is to work with a basic layout, but have it populated overtime with features. aka, why bother adding a huge fancy image that will get in the way later, when I can make it look nicer with more features. As well flash/javascript effects, which will come later on as the site progresses.

As far as the padding on the front page, the front page is more of a temp thing since I don't quite have the content and features to make it "pop" yet.

Let's see - I have many sites; but let's fist start with Teenternet.

Teenternet.com is an online forum for young web designers around the world; and is relatively new. It's a hobby site of mine - and isn't one of my major; high trafficked websites. I'm always open to suggestions regarding the site though - and would love to hear your thoughts.

Have you modified your forum enough that it no longer requires the "Powered by phpBB" declaration/link at the bottom?

Are you also aware that not having that on your forum makes you ineligible for support from the phpBB community, as removing it is a violation of their rules, as is adding it solely for the sake of receiving support, and removing it thereafter.

I'm going to have to say:

You need to tweak your padding a bit. I keep my browser at 1055px wide (for various reasons) and I'm already having to horizontal scroll to see everything. For "safety" padding, I'd make sure that the width is less than 1024. This makes for compensation for any stretching that an image will do to the width.
That ad is too high up; its cutting into your header.
There's a lot of dead space between the content and the ad, you could reduce that so you can bring the width smaller.

Ya, but consider my design as strechful the width will be 100% so it will take the resolution of you computer at least. ya between the content and the ad I know there some dead space, but thats because it's the index, for the other page I plan to use the full space at least.

(Sorry if i already have posted here. I really don't think i have but i feel like i posted this same thing once.)

My current website is:

I don't use any hosting, my website is just on a server that someone offered me some space on. That is why my URL is so long smile

An alternative link to the above site is http://lhamil64.uni.cc. It links to the above site.

I tried my best to change the layout of the main pages to match my blog and forum but I don't think I did a good job biggrin The main website is hand-coded. The blog is WordPress and the forum is phpBB

There's really not much design, or content to speak of, it's extremely basic, bland, and featureless.

I don't want to sound rude, but that webpage looks like it was dug up from a grave. It isn't very modern looking and it is very bland/stale.

Maybe you could improve on the design a little and add some more content.
