Okay, so I made a JS function using jQuery. However, I ran into an issue. It doesn't work in Firefox's GreaseMonkey. The script works just fine in both script injectors for Chrome, i.e. Blank Canvas and TamperMonkey.
However, in Firefox the console says "$ is not defined". Its not calling the jQuery library, but I don't know why not. If I add the library directly in it works. But I'd like to keep the script file small and avoid that. I've seen other scripts that call jQuery library work just fine.

There are good reasons for not using a library like jQuery in your extensions, but I don't really feel like going into it atm, feel free to research it. If you insist however:
