That's not doctored. Seriously.

I'm speechless. Simply speechless.
I don't think i've EVER seen a process use that much.

I don't think crysis used that much (everything maxed, if that matters). The highest i've seen is like 800kish.
     
I think I've seen shots of Firefox hitting something around there; about a gig.
But I've never been able to reproduce the results.

I do think that's quite ridiculous though.

Which begs the question: Why would Apple set up a software update program which does SUCH a crappy job of updating?

That's over 3 times the amount of ram in my computer. crying
     
Mind you, are you running the latest iTunes?

Because, I've just realised, I'm running 7.3 or maybe 7.4, but I never updated to 7.5 because the installer refused to work *shrugs*

If i remember correctly when I played EQ2 it was usually using over 1GB RAM
