Here is the problem, my sound card is currently inactive.
I tried to reinstall the driver, but it is still having issues with the partitions. It just isnt talktin across the 2 OS's

Can anyone help please?

So would the soundcard model.

Since you think it has something to do with your partitions, the partitioning scheme also sounds like it might be useful information.

OK, here is what is going on.

it talks to the one it originally used WIN 2000 Server, it isnt talking to WIN XP which is on the other side of the partition

boot into each OS seperatly, and Install drivers to make your soundcard work, you cannot use one set to run both OS's as the driver becomes apart of the OS,

the driver will probally be the same in both OS's but that's what you get for running two OS's.
