What would you say, then, about someone who asserts a property about 99% of a forum, and all topics, when he has only seen about 20 people in a hundred-people forum, and talking about one specific topic?

Actually I was just talking about the tech part of the forum. I lurk around here quite often. Most people here seem to think they know more than they do. Its funny. Im sorry if i hurt your e-feelings.

Rest assured, I wasn't hurt. And I specifically meant the tech part of this forum - otherwise I'd have said a million+ members, as opposed to a hundred+.

Also, you don't lurk enough if you think the people posting in this particular thread are representative of the people in this forum.

the reason people dont do stuff to help protect is alot of hackers actually dont know how to program just in there free time when they are bored they hack using cmd just like me actually i do it at school where i cant be tracked and btw you can do alot with cmd at school like hack passwords off machines and hack websites and other s**t

I am finishing a book on Edward Singh and pre-1990 hacking/phreaking atm. Its a good read...about how the world's users didn't understand password changes and how big compaies tried to arrest rather than hire those that made it through their shoddy security.

CHAOS in Germany was against sending out worms and viruses.
