Which one do you think might be better and which will disappear???
My friend and I were discussing this in class and we didn't know which was more popular since we like both.
Even though this conversation isn't really supposed to be here, FB is a LOT more popular than Gaia, notice how sites are linking to FB and connecting to FB rather than FB having to side with anything else.

I'm not a very good source of information, but that's is how I see it based on observation.

I agree with last post, and btw, ask a mod to relocate this thread.

I am very sorry I didn't mean to make it sound like I'm critizing the two...u.u

That's like asking if Microsoft or Adobe will go under first. They're completely unrelated outside of they share a common business model (Microsoft and Adobe being to sell software, Gaia and Facebook being to be a successful website)
Not sure about that.. ~

facebook useless.. Subsciber and timeline make it not worthy..

More spend my time in gaia now..
Chat with some friend, Reply message and played Game.. yum_puddi

Same here, I love both sites but I just go on Fb to chat with friends who don't know what gaia is.

Facebook has close to a billion active users. Gaia isn't even close. Your own personal preferences and biases don't mean a damn thing; Facebook, in whatever form it's in, will more than likely outlast Gaia, and a lot of its contemporaries besides (G+, certainly).

To be honest, I think Gaia and Facebook is just too different to compare them. Facebook is actually more personal then Gaia and therefore I just don't see them as competitors whatsoever. At some point, we could even see partial (like zOMG and other games) gaia integration into facebook live cycle... Who know, maybe even into Google+. Since G+ is way more comparable with FB.
Myspace was hugely popular, and was almost literally the definition of "social network" - until Facebook devoured it. Gaia, though huge, is hardly comparable to either of them.

Now, which has a bigger market? My yard sale, or eBay?
