I has been happening to me alot as well and i just figured now to complain because it is getting a tad annoying.
I go to rally or to "my avatar" it seems to happen at least a few times everyday and I am glad to hear I am not the only one with the fake virus pop up on my computer.
Gaia, if your able to please rid of the virus pop-ups. -thanks

There is a bug on one of the ads for the gaia homepage
I havent been able to find it again, but it has an animation that comes up of a hockey puck and I have tried to avoid clicking it, but even before the animation has started, the ad that is on the front page places itself on over each button I try to press. such as the drop lists on the top and the daily chance. I end up unintentionally clicking the ad and the hockey puck animation starts and slows down my comp, or interupts my music.

this happened around 6:30 on my Firefox tab. Im in British Columbia

Gaia redirected me to this page DO NOT CLICK THIS LINK Twice within 5 minutes of logging into this account, yet not once in a week fo being on another account (worth for less gold)

SO you don't have to click the link, it's the 'anti-virus redirect' thing. It's very annoying =/

I've been getting the failware "antivirus" crap too. I knew it was a fake from the first time I got it, as it uses the XP-style My Computer window, and I am a Vista user. Thus there were many inconsistencies between what was displayed onscreen and what is actually my computer. Killed and restarted Chrome before anything OMGWTF could happen.

I get this sitewide, even on the event, I'd enjoy it if this stopped occurring.

(however the fact that ads are displayed based on an individual's cookies list combined with my /b/ habits explains the dating site ads...>.>;; )

This ad right here comes up every page or two...



It is a sound ad, that automatically starts the sounds when you go to a page that it's on.

It's loud, it scares the s**t out of me, and it's annoying... especially when listening to music.

Please get rid of this ad...

I can't listen to music with it on... It constantly scares the hell out of me... and honestly, it's just wrong that it's one of those scam ads.

A couple days ago I had one of those redirect ads that is mentioned above.

It redirected me and a popup poppedup with some bogus "Security Problem. Fix now?" type deal. I didn't click it, but I'm still worried I might have gotten something. crying

I'm on a Mac using Firefox. I was in shops getting the Halloween items and even without reloading the page it loaded "http://chinaontv.com/videos/5054.php" full page and I had to hit the back button to get back to Gaia.

In the last hafl hour I've gotten the China on TV ad twice while in my avatar page and once in this forum. I hit the back button and it started to reload itself again.

OK I went to post a new topic on the forums and suddenly my browser was sent off site to Neeage.com/online/ Not even going to try to type all the letters and numbers I see next cause they go way off the page. It is telling me I have to scan my computer with their stuff because my computer is at risk from viruses and malware... Yeah right I scan with their stuff THEN it will be.

I can't shut the browser (Chrome) down, I can't do anything but push their button

I pulled up a different browser so I could report this to you and NOW am going to have to do a had shut the computer off tun it back on via the power switch reboot before I can do anything again

I also just had the Neeage thing happen. I was doing the Demonbusters and refreshing my inventory list games in another tab on firefox when I looked up and seen the inventory tab trying to load up that Neeage thing so I quickly hit the x before the tab fully loaded it.
