Well, today with connecting (Error number 104). And I can't fight or even try to pass others windows.

* were you on a specific part of the site or does it seem to happen everywhere?

And I tryied with IE8 it's the same problems. Connection very slow and error message, and I can move everything around me is freezing. I can't go on others windows.

Well today, I was at the test forums working on a rp profile and have been working on it for about half an hour. Didn't do anything else, just typed away on my profile. When all of a sudden that SLOW DOWN message pops up when I decided to send in my post. Lost everything. That's been happening for a week now. Not happy.

Even unhappier at the fact that I can't get on my main account to work on my profile even though I went to class right after the SLOW DOWN message popped up. And it's like... 1:30 right now. So two hours later and I still can't get back on my main account.

I made this account today to see if it was just my accounts with gold in the few millions looking suspicious since I often change accounts to keep hackers from having the chance to follow me.
But, it told me to slow down after finishing the introductory quest in the shops and this account hasn't even gotten a trading pass. So, I thought I'd look around technical support and found this thread.


It started on my main when I got home during the camp event. A few days before it actually began.

It is very hard to come onto this site anymore, because I'll wait out the calm down period, then a minute later be banned for another two hours.
Information of my firefox using an extension dumper. Small font for page-stretching reasons.
I am currently going through and getting rid of any extensions that you've listed;

4:55 ish pm EST, Oct 18, 2009. I've gotten the hotshot message whenever I log on in IE, or Firefox, but not in Opera, and only in this account(tested with a mule). As far as I know, I have no non standard ad ons.

this is the second time i have had the error (first time was about a month or so ago.

like most other users i was using Firefox but i have only 3 toolbars/addons 1 is Gaia, one is Tektek and the other is Illumix

however i get the error when i leave my Tabs open for a long period of time than refresh it once. no income is earned no bots, nothing, Currently my main account is still getting this error so i'm using Opera and on a Mule account till it clears up

The first time it happened was a month or so ago, while using my desktop...and after using my laptop for a month or so i got on my desktop and i got the error today after gaia was really laggy, i left it alone than came back to it after clearing out some of my tabs, i got the error

for the record my Main that is getting the error is FivePercentSure

I had the same problem as Lowrnhart. It didn't last as long as his did and it stopped when I closed my internet explorer and reopened it, but I just don't want to get baned for somthing I didn't do.

I get it in the marketplace and from following users on the demonbusters, etc.
I get it because I click between areas before the pages can load (it takes forever for a page to load, as soon as the link I need is there, I click it, and it normally displays links before graphics and stuff, so I move between like 2-3 pages in a second)

I really don't mind, I know it's for the greater good of gaia, to keep bots off... I just hope I don't get in serious trouble from it one day ..... I assure you I can't program to save my life. xD and I don't want to be accused of something I don't even understand!... =(

So just saying, make sure the punishment isn't too harsh if people are just trying to play on gaia...
Gaia is a major part of my life and I would be crushed if you guys banned me over something as silly as clicking too fast. XD

Any advice? (other than slow down >o> XD I have slowed down)

PS: I've only gotten it three times. One was because my computer froze, then loaded like 12 links I had accidentally clicked while it was frozen, the others were simply from me moving page-to-page too fast.

I'm not sure if my report is the same or just similar...I hope it's in the right place.

I was browsing the website like usual, I went to the home page and noticed the featured avatar was updated so I clicked on them to view their profile. Their profile loaded up and then I got a gray old school windows (like 95/98 style) pop up that said something along the lines of "You've been loading pages too fast, please log in to prove you are not a bot" and it wanted me to type in my log in information. I cleared my cookies and such and ran my virus scanner then loaded gaia back up and changed my password. I went back to their profile to see if it'd happened again but it didn't and nobody in their comments posted anything about their profile being responsible for that.

Sorry for the lack of screenshot, if it happens again I'll add it.

I use Firefox, haven't updated to the newest version yet. The add-ons I use are The Yahoo! Toolbar, Winamp Toolbar, Veoh Browser Plug In, Microsoft .NET Framework assistant, Java Console, Google Toolbar, and Adobe DLM.
