Ok, this is starting to get to my nerve, I have nearly 2 days with this account and it gives me the Critical Error even when I’m about to login! What is this?? And I’m not doing anything against the TOS or Rules and Guidelines! I don’t even refresh!! Seriously… And not only do I get the Error but I have to wait more than a couple of minutes! And I get it all day long, and I even try to give more time to my actions… not cool…

Tho if you try to contact an omnimod or CarbonPhyber himself they might be able to sort out your problem

Me myself I haven't gotten my trading pass disabled yet...(probably because of the fact that I've been suck in school for the past month =w=" [Dx my school started a month early])

Tho the problems that you're explaining are exceptionally similar to the problems that others are having, so reporting this might help your current situation.

I reported it to an omni mod. He put my name on a list to be "checked." Sadly, he didn't know when someone would get around to looking into the problem. I've heard people have had their trading pass disabled for six months or more... so it worries me. But here's to hoping! *crosses fingers*

hello deathly dreamer here. to report one of the biggest bugs yet.

I do no need any url at all, I have not been able to hit the refresh button without being logged out for approximately 72 hours, If I accidentally forget and hit the refresh button once, no mater where I am, I get the "critical error" I get this error on every mule my main account and every browser i can use. the browsers include firefox (latest version) [addons]( microsoft.net framework assitant 1.1, move media player, skype extension for firefox 3.3.0)

I have also disabled all addons and ran it, same error. any thread I go to.

Tried IE again every possibility, except I run without adons for IE (safer)

Google Chrome (no adons) again same error in every thread.

Lastly I have always switched servers, like using gaia from my house in every possible way and using gaia school in the same manner, again same error appears.

Let me stress this, I do have multiple accounts, so it is not just one account that is affected. all accounts all get the error when posting in the forums, does not matter what forum it is either.

Please let me know what I can do, I have not changed any habits that I have had being on gaia since 03, always refreshing at about 45 seconds when I am active on the site, there is no harm in doing so..

already contacted an omni mod about the error, no response three days out now. just wanting some answers.

EDIT... I fixed the problem, I know the sololution to the problem though users may not like it..too bad for them, have an admin pm me for details.

Re-stickying as "Deathly Dreamer" and "Navino" have found a likely culprit.

My claim to fame.

Now to wait until it's a Site-wide announcement, explaining that trading passes and such forth were caused by the Skype extension.

Maybe a larger announcement via the announcement forums would have the word spread wider / faster - And It'll give me alot of e-peen.

The true culprit is any and all ajax addons. any of them that have access to your web, will be what you get the error from. again let me stress any addon that uses ajax functions casuses the error, it is not an error in gaia programing.

I'm still waiting on that =(

even though we uninstalled the add-ons... does that mean we'll never get our trading passes back? should I contact someone?

I showed a mod about 2 weeks ago about this, but he just said he'd put my name on a list... he doesn't know about the info you guys found as far as I know. He also said he didn't know when my account would get looked at.

But I just sent a new PM to the dev asking if he could put info on what to do in the first post for those who are now labeled as "bots" and lost our passes x.x

the slowdowns happened for me when that bar at the bottom(footer), that's part of gaia, apparently, seems to be what started all the slowdown stuff for me, and i tried to turn it off, and it won't turn off. i don't give a crap about having quicklinks or a notice about new messages, i get the new message notice on top of the page. this bar, just showed up, and it won't go away, and it's only after it showed that things slowed.

Not here to report an occurrence, really; I'd been getting slammed with those error pages and having agonizingly slow loading in the Shops, so I came here looking for help. I can't believe it was really the new Skype extension all along! I mean, I didn't really need it so I uninstalled it, and the whole site is running fantastic for me again! I've talked to Admins. They won't publish an announcement (yet) - they are under the impression that the number of users affected is relatively small to the Gaia userbase.
