Sticky: Collecting Login Bugs - Stickied + Updated

This is a great bug for me. Great as in huge, not amazing.
(Sorry if it's been mentioned before)

Sometimes, when I enter my pass, it says it's the wrong one, and that
I'll be banned for a few minutes after too many tries. People told me to
log on with my accountnumber - Doesn't work either.
I tried a few times and gave up.
After an hour or so, it worked again.

I think this could be a potentially great problem, since people will think
they got hacked and you'll be flooded with reports.

My friend from Britain had this problem too once. She wasn't able to log
on from her computer, but when I tried logging in on her account, it all
worked just fine.

I am having this same issue REPEATEDLY on my other account, thus me being on this one, and it is really stressful.

I reported it and got the auto-response "did you forget your password? Take the steps to change it!" - which I had tried and did NOT work. So I replied that it didn't solve my problem, and got a response suggesting I try wiping my browser's cache. Also didn't work. Haven't had a reply back otherwise yet.

Is there any news on this issue yet, since apparently it's not my computer as there are multiple people with this problem?
