Guys, seriously... This ad business is getting tiresome. It seems like every few months I have to come in here and ask the same bloody question. stressed
I buy some amount of GC every month.
I have the option selected to block external ads, as a result.
The option page claims I have "31 days of ad-free living" at this point.
And yet...
I've seen ads just this morning for Map Quest, Vonage, Allstate, some car company and a whole host of others on almost every page I visit.
Yes. I know I could switch to another browser and use AdBlock, and I do exactly that on my tablet and laptop. Unfortunately, on this machine I have to stick with IE. So, it would be nice if you could get your act together and fix whatever recurring problem it is that buries even your GC-purchasers in ads.
(And before some know-it-all comes in here to post that it's my computer that's infected and these are the result of rogue adware... No. They're confined to the tower, footer and side-margin ad spaces in the Gaia lay-out. Under normal circumstances, internal ads would appear in those same spaces.)
